I think the only thing holding this back was budget issues; but what can you expect from DVDs being released with the Manga?

They cannot pass up the opportunity to make this into a new series. It's got such a new/fresh vibe. Imagine a serialized 5cm per second and you have this.

Just use the same director and the same music + better art and I can tell you, you'll have the romance masterpiece we've all been waiting for :)

And here i thought i could bit*h at Eba again just like in manga, 5/10, sorry but those boobies didn't works on me not when i want to see "you know what will happened next".

I didn't like Haruto's voice to be honest, it feels so rude that even when he speaks normally it feels like he's screaming... I did like the childish voice, though.
Animate such a long manga in 2 episodes is really difficult, must say it was really fast paced and even though I did read a few chapters from the manga, I felt lost a lot of times. Imagine who didn't even read it.

Maybe this would have been enjoyable if I was a 16 year old girl, but most of these romantic lines and general behavior was so cliche and melodramatic that it was honestly cringeworthy. Maybe I'll try the manga in the future to see if it's any better.

Haruto's voice really stood out to me as it sounded so gruff but earnest at the same time. I liked his character in general because it showed that he cares a lot about his girlfriend and tries his best to clear up the misunderstanding. However, especially since the story is told from his point of view everyone else fell a bit flat for me unfortunately.

OVA was pretty good. Glad I haven't read the manga or I'd probably be pretty annoyed.

Not sure why they bothered with the random bath fan service though. This didn't seem like the type of anime to need it.

Well, definitely hope to see a series.
I actually like the artwork. It's simple but refreshing to me. The mangaka's is good too, but after reading the manga for so long, the change there is quite nice. =D

ok thats enough about why i hated it. i really hope they decide to make a series of this and actually do it from the start cause they could easily make it into a 26 episode series and then even make a sequel if they wanted. i guess i can only hope.

the kiss scene was different. and lots of added scenes.
from a person that hated reading mangas. this was my first manga. Is completely different, reading manga and watching this ova. the manga is like 10 times better than this. 1. probably the artwork like some people were complaining. 2. the VA. but theres a reason why behind the VA cast. so can't help it.
I suggest people to read the manga.

Yeah, I agree.. I also like his voice. His character was also great. I always like people who doing their best to folllow what their good-heart says and do what they need to do.
But, I'm not too agree with you if you said the others a bit flat. From my stand point I think the director had done a great job at telling us about the other characters' personality.

Man, too bad this was just an OVA with 2 episodes. I really like this anime. I'm craving for more episode now.. ah, too bad for me.. :(

Loved both OVAs. Eba was cute! As someone who has read the manga, i kind of crave more for episodes. I guess i'll have to satisfy myself with the new manga chapters instead xD

If only this would become a proper anime series. If only...

Wow, I guess my memory truly does suck. Watching this OVA was a pretty new experience for me.. or at least it felt like one. I hardly remembered any of the stuff they showed in anime from the manga. The only time I did remember was when people on this forum pointed out the differences. If I hadn't read these posts, I would've probably really liked this OVA thinking it was well made. These posts quickly opened my eyes and changed my opinion, lol. Still though, I don't think the art was as bad as people say it is (though it definitely is different from the manga). That being said, I think that the voices could've been way better than what it is. Some of the voices feel a little.. strange.

gamerguy art and story both play a role in manga and anime ok and I must say the first half of this series was straight but the rest just jumped off course of the manga.
as for the art work all I can say is there is no excuse sense suzuka's artwork almost looked like seo kouji's.
all in all this was a good watch and I do hope for a full series
p.s. the ending to this left me laughing cause of what really happens next

very beautiful, even for only 2 episodes, i wouldn't it being a whole anime - well i'm going to read the manga now :)
