Movie was pretty legit. I, too, hope for an English dub.

I thought Sentai dubbed everything. Either way, I wanted to see this, so this makes me happy.
I don't accept random friend requests, but feel free to PM me if you want to talk about something i've posted or talk about some anime/manga that i've seen.

If it is slated for Bluray then it will be dubbed.

Their DVD only releases are subbed only unless stated otherwise like Hakuouki.

They used to back when they were ADV. Now they sub niche titles while dubbing bigger titles.

Random question. Why is it translated as "children who chase lost voices" when "hoshi" means star in Japanese? And where are they getting the "lost" from? Sorry, this is just me being picky about translations.

Or it could be that "Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below" is the full official English name of the movie, as per the Japanese website, and Sentai found the "lost" part from there.

This was WEIRD with monsters and magic but good. The art was fantastic and the story was interesting. Very much like Spirited Away. I liked the love interest but it was very minimal. Kinda sad at times too

BUT don't think i would watch it again. MAYBE i will watch the eng dub out of curiosity...but thats about it :/

Sentai Filmworks is just ADV reborn. ADV changed names all the time, just like Funnymation does now. Any resemblance to the Japanese title is purely coincidental.
