At the end, when she tilts her head up to say "Right Lelouch" you see that the sign on her forehead is no longer there. The sigil on her head came about when the nun forced the immortality on her...now it is gone. Lelouch did not take Charles' code. They had to give up the code, as was sort of explained in that arc with CC vs. Charles. If one could simply take a code, Charles and Lulu's mother wouldn't have needed to plead with CC at the start to help with their plan. |

| I forgive the other 24 episodes for having been incredibly uneven, going from crap to pretty decent. I loved this ending. Now, if it was good or not, I'm too giddy to give any say. Prematurely I'd say it's at the very least solid. |

| So the guy at the end leading the cart, has his face concealed slightly and it seems like CC was talking to him, i think he maybe alive or "sunrised" I wonder if there will be more code geass...? Good ending ^^ |

| Gah~ -Very good music at last episode, I rarely find the music to a 'final' episode good or quality picked. -I do not think this was an open ending, it is one when the producers make it one. (those sneaky bastards can do everything, they have the REAL geass) *Sigh*~ It's all over now, all my 'currently' watching list will be empty after this week ('cept for naruto / bleach) General ending time for anime, who doesn't hate it? (untill the new series start :D) back on topic: Great episode, a tad predictable, but nothing to hate it for. Great show, hoping for more seasons / OVA's. | I was satisfied with the ending. Although I was hoping for a happy ending and for everying to go back to normal at the end, it was pretty obvious that it was not going to happen, after everything that Lelouch did. Hopfully they won't make a third series after that ending... I gave Code Geass R2 10/10 for it's epicness and many plot twists, making it both an enjoyable and unpredictable series. |
| Great ending, loved it! Although I liked the first season better I have to admit it was a great concluion for the series! I was a little worried that they would make an open ending to try to make yet another season, I'm glad it didn't turn out that way! |

| <3 you haters. Flame on! R2 got me through this hellish summer, so I can forgive the randomness that popped up in some of the episodes. I'm happy with the ending, seeing as how C.C., Kallen, Orange-Kun (the orange farmer!), Suzu, and (I don't care what you guys think, he's alive!) Lulu are alive. Yay for my gay love for Lulu. :D Damn open ended endings. Episode got a 5/5 from me. |

Or did you mean you wanted to see Lelouch tyrannize the world? That would be interesting to see, but his fate had been sealed for a long time. Sacrificing himself was his only option. |
