Team Rocket still looking for Meloetta who is following ash! Ash arrives at the gym which is in the middle of a battle! Koffing!! wtf really ash dexing a koffing?1?!?!?!?!?! Homika vs Ash full on 6v3 battle! Koffing vs Gantle Koffing's gyro ball is too strong for Gantle! Koffing vs Kenhorou Koffing is too strong for Kenhorou too! Koffing vs Hahakomori Hahakomori's string shot captures the win! Pendora vs Hahakomori Hahakomori poisoned by acid and easily defeated! Pendora vs Chaobu Chaobu wins with fire oath and the gym leader heals chaobu's poison! Dustdas vs Chaobu Those are incredibly long arms lol! Chaobu defeated! Dustdas vs Gamagaru Gamagaru poisoned to death! Dustdas vs Pikachu Pikachu barely pulls out with a nice victory thanks to static! Ash gets his final badge! The Toxic Badge! Looking forward to the second season and the return of Hikari and Shirona (Dawn and Cynthia)i!!!!!! Next EP: Meloetta's EP with the return of Shirona! |

| Derp I got confused too lawl anyways I really like this gym battle, I feel like Pendora is a bit underpowered though but I guess it makes sense since Chaobuu landed quite a few super effective hits That Koffing's gyro ball omg so OP lawl This episode's a 9/10 and the series as a whole for me was 8/10 NEED MOAR TEAM ROCKET D: can't wait for Meloetta and season 2~ Wonder if Dawn's gonna travel with them as well or will she just make an appearance for some episodes |

| Best gym atmosphere Best gym leader design Best gym leader personality Best gym leader English dubbed voice For Best Wishes standard. The gym battle could have been better, as does the Best Wishes season 1. I remember having so much anticipation for Best Wishes after finishing Diamond & Pearl, too bad it didn't live up to the expectation. I was thinking that maybe they're doing the Indigo league of the old style Pokemon with Best Wishes for the new style Pokemon, for the sake of the kids of this generation. Hopefully Ash's development will be progressive from here on out, as XY, flawed as it may be, is still a step toward the right direction. That said, Best Wishes' Ash's character couldn't be more annoying. His battle dialogues are repetitive as hell, his character is somewhat contradictory sometimes. At times, the flow of the episode/series felt awkward because of forced development toward certain direction in order to satisfy certain criteria. For example, - Ash had to prove himself to be someone who loves his Pokemon and what the writers did was, they write an episode where Ash pretty much was doing some really crazy stunts like jumping from a cliff to save a Pokemon, or jumping in front of an attack to defend a Pokemon. It is not unusual for Ash to do that on regular basis, but it becomes cringey when it was done so to prove a point, usually to a Pokemon that does not trust a trainer much. - In the gym battle with the ground type gym leader, Ash's choice for his final Pokemon was a Pokemon with 2x/4x disadvantage, yet he still chose it because the gym leader believes in winning with pure brute and toughness, despite the move "attract" is a legit battle strategy. He pretty much went head to head in that final round and still came out victory. -.- |
