I´m a little confused. I get that hes chinese and all, and that they need his blood to make that ritual. what i don´t understand is, why it had to specifically be Kotarou. Couldn´t they have just taken any random chinese kid? |

They never gave a reason as to why it was Kotarou. He's supposedly the 'child born every hundred years' but they never say why it was him or how they found out. I imagine it was something to do with his parents while they were in China. |
