Is that some kind of mistake or joke? This cartoon is clearly not an anime. What's next? Bugs Bunny?

Japanese people making a cartoon regardless of location?
Anybody who makes a cartoon in Japan?
A cartoon that is influenced by Japanese animation and not made in Japan or by Japanese people?

People never really give a clear cut definition.

Perfect. Now I can start bugging the hell out of them to add every Western anime style show/movie. If they say no then I can just use this as proof that it CAN be added.

On the topic, this is clearly a mistake taking in consideration Avatar has been like a billion times rejected in the new series queue. Either that or the Anime DB Administrator just got tired of rejecting it, which I hardly doubt.

It'll get removed. It's been stated hundreds of times on this site that Avatar is not considered anime. I have no idea who approved it, but they fucked up.

I remember the previous FAQ having a specific topic about Avatar.
Went something along the lines of:
Q:Can we add Avatar to the database?
A:No.
Q:Why?
A:Because Avatar is not an anime.
