I plan to start watching/reading this series, what should I do ? Read the manga first or watch the anime first ? |

If you want to do both I suggest you watch the anime first since the manga's main character is way different in the manga than the anime. And usually people judge the anime to harshly when they already read the manga. Also the manga is better so save the best for last :P |

I watched the anime first and I'm now 8 volumes into the manga. Its normal for anime adaptations to be toned down but this anime takes the cake! Its very dumbed down and does butcher the story by cutting a lot from the manga and adding filler & new characters. |

Read the manga instead. They change some stuff in the story from the manga adaptation and it didn't make as much sense because they cut too much out. I dropped the anime at episode 5. |
