Sousei no Aquarion is one of my personal favourite show that I truly love for its weird gattai and obviously its cheesy star-crossed lover between apollonius and celiane.

I never thought of it till now, but where is Sirius' reincarnation? They seem to have not mentioned him. They specifically said Silvia was Mikono. But Sirius was the other half of Cellian.
Not to mention that no matter how I look at it, some of Silvia can be seen in Mikono, but Silvia was never that whiny or wimpy (I have nothing against Mikano so don't flame me)- not to mention that Cellian herself was not like that from what we've seen. From what I've been able to gather- she and Silvia shared a personality. All Mikano holds in the sadness and need to apologize as far as I can tell.

Maybe Zessica is Sirius' Reincarnation? Considering Toma tried to use both Sirius and Silvia at the end of the first Aquarion, and he seems to be trying again.
I never liked him much, but they are ruining the original charm of the series. Since they didn't add Sirius and the split soul -(In regards to him and Silvia)- explanation to it it means that while Mikano is Silvia- Sirius's has to be somewhere, if not then they should have explained about the soul merging again.
I think their going to troll us some more >_>





That rant wasn't anywhere as long as some of mine- I've been working on a rant about that episode since Monday -(In fits and starts since I've been busy)- And I don't blame you for ranting or feeling that way.
I feel the exact same way.
I loved the first season for the same reasons, and I really loved this one too, until Sunday- now I'm not sure what to think. They just screwed up everything I knew about Aquarion and took away some of the things I loved about the series.

I love how Shrade's last song combined the two main openings....that was awesome

Hmmm I am sure I posted a lil regarding Sirius (or rather asked abt it) not long ago in this thread. Funny how it disappeared but no matter. Initially I thought that Sirius reincarnated into Shrade given their similar looks and that somewhat 'regal' aura that they have. The first basis is debunked since Mikono looked NOTHING like Celiane and Sylvia who were both blonde while she had purple hair. In Sousei (and disregarding the things we found out in Evol), the reincarnations were a dead giveaway. Apollo, Sylvia etc looked like their past lives to a certain extent.

Best explanation (other than the fact that they DID forget about Sirius) is that this is a spinoff sequel as stated by kyled00m earlier

is this some kinda joke or something? Who the hell thought that would be a good idea. “Let’s just ruin everything Aquarion and make them the reincarnation of a DOG.” Like really? No one told this guy it’s a stupid idea don’t do it.

Now I feel like i'm gonna watch Genesis Of aquarion every time I see Apollo I’m going to be like “Oh right, HES A DOG. Now I don’t want to watch this anymore.”

I couldn’t even feel bad about Shrade cos I’m too pissed off about this.

Not really. In the first season, he had been severely hinted to be the third pilot of Aquarion 24,000 years ago. Most of Apollonius' soul is in the legendary Aquarion :P

Somehow... the show lost the 'reincarnation romance' trait...

Actually, Fudou never said he was the third pilot, only that he piloted Aquarion. Everyone assumed he was the third pilot, because they assumed that Apollo was Apollonius. But hey, he's not really Apollonius but Pollon the dog, and we found out that his real form according to Mykage looks nothing like Gen/Zen. Mykage calls that form of his: hideous and asked him where he left his real body. When he awakes earlier, it seems to hint he's a Shadow Angel (he appears surrounded by those crystals in the first episodes).

Considering *Scorpius* shows up in Evol, he's likely the real third pilot (it was shadowed in the Genesis TV series).

Apollonius might be split in Crea/Rea, Aquarion and Fudo if one of the reincarnations are split three times (as Kawamori hinted in an interview). Unless loli is really Princess Alisia and Shushu is Apollonius' heart/feelings.

I think some of these moments in this episode were what made the whole series for me, no matter how down hill things go from here, even with Apollo being the reincarnation of a dog and all.

1. Kagura and Mikino moment, where he looks at her in the flowers. She apologizes, he asks why and she just responds "because I never realized how you felt" and they just smile at each other.

2. The second was Kagura calling Aquarion which answered him, only for the three: Kagura, mikino, and mikage/zessica to fly up into the pilot seats.

Sure it's all going to go downhill from here what with the Amata and Kagura complexity and Amata being such of step down in character design from Apollo. Still I could enjoy these moments while they were here.

Random thought:
Could Pollion (Sp?) Have been a part of Apollonius? Sort of like the 2 were connected and part of each other even though they weren't in the same body...... I mean, their names kind of match..... Though he could have just given his dog a matching name to his own...




That's depressing if they did forget him. I mean.... I don't like Sirius, didn't really like him from the start basically because he was too stiff and cramped my Apollo- I like it better when it's a unique character like Apollo or Kagura.
Mikono being Silvia still doesn't sit right, not only were Silvia and Ceilion both similar in looks but they also had similar personalities..... as far as personality goes, Zessica fits that better.... but whatever.
Their still not done trolling us.... I think anyway.

Wow that was really nice the way they explained everything that happened before and who were reincarnated into who. It was simple to understand and they explained very clearly.

Lol I dno, didn't read through the comments this time when I posted. And I still haven't finished watching Sousei yet so I am not exactly sure what happened there. Browsing through it now though I see now why everyone here thinks that. But I guess I was just saying the way they explained it was easy to follow and stuff.

OVA doesn't matter. It's just simplified story with Apollonius=Apollo, Celliane=Silvia and Scorpius=Reika.
Scorpius appears in in Evol but that's just image. Series is canon.

But despite the long-awaited revelations, I think the most striking sequence of the anime was the sacrifice of Shrade ... I honestly do not want him to die. T.T

this is just a great mind fuck......first the gunslinger girls and now aquarion...I don't know how much can I stand O.o

this is what I think

SPOILER ALERT (original aquarion): I have been thinking and came up with this theory (sorry for spelling) SPOILER ALERT (original aquarion) Guesses for aquarion evo (this is my theory, I don’t know if my guesses are true, but I think it mass sense)

apolonios is solerwing -> reborn as aquarion (reviled in last ep of aquarion) -> split into aquarion genesis and evo (when amata created evo in ep.1-2)

pluton (or watever, the dog) -> reborn as apallo (shown several times as a winged dog through weal chair girl vision and as the constellation in last ep. of aquarion) -> reborn as true amata then split in to amata and kagura by mikage at say 5 year old?

celion -> reborn as silvia and brother -> reborn as mikono

toma -> reborn as mikage

apallo created aquarion genesis in ep.1 (lets call it aquarion g) true form of aquarion not full power (that happens in the end)

split amata (lets say s_amata) created aquarion evo in ep.1-2

aquarion g has kagura as head pilot
aquarion evo has s_amata as head pilot

I think that s_amata will become one with kagura and become complete amata (this might happen when thay pilot aquarion g and evo)

that will cause both the original aquarion g and the new aquarion evo to become one therefor reuniting thew soul of apolonios

eventualy complete amata (merge s_amata and kagure) will marry mikono like in the vision in ep.1-2

basicly I think that apolonios split in two when amata created aquarion evo

see original aquarion series and everything will be explained (last 5-6 eps?), thats how i came up with this, it is just a guess, I have not read a manga (don’t even know if there is one) This is my opinion and nothing more, what do you think?
