THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- My hands are totally shaking at what the end presented itself in depiction of the treatment of homunculus. About thee end of the episode, I cannot say I liked seeing the whole sequence of Kirei faces in the spoiler a very shocking face of Irisviel. However it followed with a nice moment in the following, ![]() I TT_TT hard man! Along with the spoiler To say the least SICK! Life treated like garbage! Other than that still shook up of Kirei strangling Irisviel. Now he is on my HIT LIST! About the ordeal of heart aching, there is nothing like the following, ![]() That can depict TT_TT and rage as much as this. It was like “KIREIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!” And on. Words cannot describe the intense RAGE felt and very feeling as I write this. At first Irisviel had a nice defiant face here, however it turned sour when I see Kirei here. I know SHIT IS GOING TO HIT FANS! I knew it. I was never ready for what followed in the spoiler I finish this with respect to Irisviel and my love for her character like so. Waver and Rider were nice comedic reliefs to say the least with nice drama at the end. I think this was the most TT_TT episode and I have a feeling it will get worst later with her the point I might need some beer to calm down. This was HARDCORE and I though Caster was the worst, I cannot express this episode how much more deeper and harder it hit to see Irisviel being abused by Kirei and her past. What Kirei did to Irisviel was cruel, just to get rid of and crumble his enemy, Kiritsugu,'s dream. Weaver kind of got scared? but determined/aware of the final battle, so he "gave up" being the master to Rider. (That instant was ... how to say... cool?) |

Typo in the episode? That sign said 21.. Anyway all my tears, the episode had the best interaction of the anime thus far, Waver's scene with the grandfather and then the friendship scene with Rider, and how I thought he was actually going to send Rider on alone and we'd see no more Waver got me emotional. And then when he picked him up and put him on the hours and Waver was all agitated and conflicted with emotions of happiness, was so lovely. True friends. Waver has consistently been my favorite. <img src="http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lx1a8gz3tu1qbxqfpo1_500.png" /> |

Does anyone feel the same? So painful and it so lingers in the mind. Especially if you love Irisviel as a character. TT_TTI want to kill Kirei myself now. |

This episode was quite emotional. Iri's death and transformation into the Holy Grail, Waver and Rider... Man, I really want Rider to win this Holy Grail War. |

Grandpa confirmed for bro. Kirei, finding a reason to fight now. Damn, I cringed at the snapping part. Waver is so moe. Oh man, those dialogues after Rider placed him on the horse are just begging for doujins. And there it is, my black mud. Those homunculus bodies... Poor Iri. Poor Ilya Rider vs. Archer next time. Things will get so real next time. |

Holy crap UFO! They cut too much psychological activities in Kiritsugu&Saber scene... PS:Has anyone noticed the meaning of those flares? In tarot, 4 stands for Emperor, while 7 stands for Chariot. Exactly Gil & Alex. |

Dayum it went from 29 hours left to only 4 hours in one episode. I think this is the best episode since before the flashbacks. So many feelings~~ I can't believe that old man, figuring out Waver isn't his grandson. The moment between them was really sweet. And then the moment with Rider too. And poor Iri :< Now I really can't wait for the next ep. They better do a good job!! |

Nice move there, Kirei, putting up Berserker against Saber so that he can deal with Rider without them interfering. It's quite interesting in how many cases characters are motivated by the wish to wipe out the from their point of view illusionary and pathetic ideals of certain people and to prove them wrong. The first one was Waver who opposed to Kayneth's belief in the dominance of bloodlines but until now Saber has been the biggest target of this kind of endeavour by Rider and Kiritsugu. Ironically, the wish to destroy the latter one's ideals becomes Kirei's final motivation in this war and judging from what has happened until now it is safe to assume that Kiritsugu's ideals will not fare better than those of any of the other participants. Kirei is the exception here as he neither possesses any ideals like Saber and her master nor does he follow a certain moral code like Kaneth and Tokiomi and he certainly seems to be favoured by the writer as he is the most successful in the game. |
