| I couldn't give less of a fuck about Yurika and Jun (they are both bad/annoying characters), but the main love triangle is as awesome as ever. Can't wait to see how this pans out. |

| Seems like every third episode everyone changes who they love. I'm hoping that isn't the premise for the remainder of the season. There actually was jazz music during this episode. During the flashback scene for Brother Jun you can hear free jazz playing in the background. |

| This is stupid. Why are they doing a pairing with two side characters? If its going to be Jun and Yukari set on stone then might as well end it at that and stop giving them airtime... wasting my precious episodes. I feel for my boy Sen here. I want him to have a happy ending but I also don't want Kaoru to be the odd man out... *sigh* |
| Yurika and Jun both seem to be making some dumb choices so perhaps they deserve each other. I don't care for their storylines that much though, the show was better in the beginning. Jun's change felt quite rushed as well. It looks like we're getting 2-episode arcs in this series now. Maybe for the ending they'll at least focus on the main thing again. Also, Ritsuko's wavering annoys me. I'd say it's pretty realistic particularly for a teenage girl, but it doesn't mean I like watching the familiar thing happen: a guy whom the girl didn't find interesting romantically suddenly becomes a potential love interest when *others* find him fascinating. Yes, perhaps that's what it takes to wake her up but it's still not a good sign because she either A) is emotionally immature and needs others to show her how she feels or B) is more interested in the guy's social status than anything else. Well, she's young still. Yurika's choices also seem to me like something an inexperienced person would do. |

| This is probably the only love triangle I can recall where I would honestly feel bad for whoever loses out, be it Sen or Kaoru or Ritsuko. |
| So we go from probably the best episode of the series, to the weakest... I just dont like this Brother Jun-Yukari storyline. I think it's come out of nowhere and isn't being told or developed particularly well. The only characters i really care about are Kaoru, Sen and Ri-chan. They're the ones they should be focusing on... I wish this anime had 24 episodes instead of just 12. Maybe then would have room for more character arcs. Ahh well, at least Sen has FINALLY moved on from this boring female and realized that Ri-chan is the one for him! BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE: Ri-chan coincidentally discovers that she has feelings for Karou! (Despite not liking him at all a few episodes ago) HILARITY ENSUES..?! |

| The way Sen and Kaoru can communicate through music is incredibly well done. Looks like Sentarou isn't having any luck, I feel for him but I'm rooting for Kaoru and Riko now. Also I don't blame Yurika's parents for trying to keep her away from Jun. He's not a bad guy, just fell down a rough path. But it's one of the few times I've wanted to side with the protective parents. |

Agree with everyone else here, didn't like the JunxYurika ship, and I could really careless about both of them, they are bringing down Sakamichi as a whole for me. JunxYurika screentime was like "Please move onto the next scene already.", and the KaoruxRitsukoxSentaro gave me a heartache in a good way, gotta love the moment Kaoru misunderstood who Ritsuko was knitting for. |

| Definitely better than the previous episodes; I loved the development this episode. Though, TBH, I agree that the romance between Jun and Yurika doesn't settle. Really feeling for Sentarou =/ first he was into Yurika who ditched him for a man like an older brother to him, now he realizes Ritsuko is into him... just as she's finally beginning to fall for Kaoru. And on that note, Ritsuko hardly has a right to fall for Kaoru now after breaking his heart earlier smh. |

| So now Sentarou finally knows about Ritsuko, whose feelings have already shifted towards Kaoru. Too bad for Junichi and Yurika..but they shoudl've told Sen before. Waiting until they were discovered was just foul. On the other hand, Yurika is still just a child, well, a teen but still. I think it was very good of her to try to help Junichi. She did what she felt was right in her heart because she loved him. It's sad it didn't workout for her. Junichi should've thought more about who he was truly leaving behind. |

| 1960s were an interesting time to be alive. Or animated. Seeing the protests visualised in such a manner was definitely exciting. In such an environment, it is exceedingly easy for a person to get carried away by the spirit of the time. For Junichi, it had some dramatic consequences, though. On a lighter note, despite its cause, I like Yurika's new hairdo. |
| Lmao, I loved when Sen was playing real fast and loud Kaoru tried to catch up to him :D Never liked the parents that have to find "a viable" partner for you in anime. Finally Sentarou realized, this could get interesting ... especially with Ritsuko now realizing she might really like Kaoru after all. |

| Well this episode turns everything around I guess. Ricchan is starting to like Kaoru and Sentarou is thinking back to his childhood and how Ricchan was always there to support him... I love to see that Kaoru is more responsible. I think he is slowly accepting the fact that Ricchan is (or was?) in love with Sentarou. Junichii is disappointing me to be honest. Although his backstory is sad. But it seems that he is just playing with Yurika. I think she is a good match for Kaoru. Too bad the anime puts a lot of emphasis on love; it's a coming-of-age story, I get that. But I would like to see more friendship and music. |
