I'm not surprised nor disappointed by this turn of events as I was long aware of it. A long while back I read +-10 random chapters and then a patiently for this adaptation.

I guess it would have felt more impactful if we didn't know it was coming. Unzen was great though, he needed even more screentime. Definitely in my top three (Zenkichi, Akune, Unzen). Unzen sounds like a mixture of Toshiro Hitsugaya (Bleach) and Komatsu (Toriko).

I wish it played out differently, surely the other council members are competent ?

The same voice actor plays toshiro and komatsu and also unzen and to your second question yes they all take part in battles but not in this arc.

What? did i just see a girl walking on the tips of her hair while palying a violin with her feet and doing her taxes. Oh its just the student council president its normal, it would have freaked me out if it was any one else.

And to think i almost didn't watch this series put off by a lead charracter with huge boobs. Now i realize she has to have giant boobs cause she just can't loose at anything

We have waited so long for this moment and I was personally kinda disappointed but I guess that's because I have seen much more crazy shit in the manga. Anyway, I liked Shiranui and Medaka in the beginning, they really can't get along and we got a good impression of that, Shiranui is also the biggest monster in Medaka Box, you should not underestimate her, Unzen. Another good moment was when Unzen attacked Medaka, she didn't dodge it because there was no reason to be attacked by him, she has a crazy logic and we will even see more of that, it's time for Medaka to show how ridiculously strong she is.

Interesting episode....definitely hate that new kid unzen now. Also if shiranui actually becomes vice prez I will set the anime score to 0 I swear to god...she is the most annoying creature I have ever encountered in any anime so far.

I find her scarrier than unzen and maybe even medaka. Cant be help i guess i have to start reading the manga

What the fuck was that? I don't even know. That was one of the most bizarre tonal shifts I've ever seen in a show. I don't even know what to say it was such a weird experience to watch it.

I'll have to see more but it still wasn't much of an improvment over the usual drek this show has been giving me.

The Unzen guys seems to be too strong. I was actually expecting her to trust in the other Student Council members and fight him herself there but the other resulted in some nice moments as well. The reaction of student body was hilarious to Medaka's monstrous acts. Onigase having second thoughts was expected. Shiranui saved the day again and it was nice her relationship with Medaka being made clear finally.
