According to Kadokawa Shoten, an OVA of Ebiten was announced to be released in December. An anime Blu-ray will be bundled with the fourth volume of the original manga.

Well the synopsis of the manga provides nothing of note. Can anyone who has read this provide a better synopsis?

Might check out the first episode first.
This isn't on my plan to watch for next season but it's a pretty weak season filled with romance harem stuff so might as well just pick up everything.

Certainly looks mainstream.
PS: btw doesn't she look like Sakurano from Seitokai no Ichizon

Noya Itsuki just started his school year at the Ebisugawa High School and since he has always had a fascination with space, he decides to join the astronomy club. I was hoping for students learning about space while slowly strengthing their relationship with a common interest. Looks like this one is just going to be another "LOL guess what anime we are referencing??? SO FUNNEH xD we talking about a anime in another anime how random lulz!" anime for otaku to fawn over, I've had enough of that in Haiyore.

If you look at the Anime picture here on MAL, with the 7 protagonists on it, "he" is the one in the upper left corner. If I can trust Anidb's character page that is.

Then watch Sora no Manimani if you haven't already. It does an amazing job of doing just that. That's literally the exact premise.

Cool. Another generic high-quality harem. It will probably have God-tier writing and lots of substance. It'll also probably have fanservice that will definitely cover for any flaws it may have.
