The official website for the anime series Koihime†Musou has announced that the series will indeed get a new OVA project. No news yet on what the content will be, however it will be quite different from the original series.

Koihime†Musou the anime was adapted from the adult game of the same title.

Also, Tales of Symphonia will be getting an OVA sequel. The sequel will be called Tales of Symphonia: Tethe'alla Chapter. The news was announced by Bandai-Namco at the Tokyo at Tales of Festival 2008.

The OVA of Koihime can be an extra episode included in the last volume of the DVD because it only includes one episode but the price is the same as the other two-episode volumes.

My guess is that Abyss ws more popular in Japan than Symphonia, hence it getting the full season treatment rather than the OVA series.

I am very, very happy to hear that ToS will finally be getting a sequel OVA. I've been looking forward to that for a while.
