Well I got to admit the innovations keep on impressing me in this series. The episode clearly demonstrated with the simplest of things in the spoiler creepy depictions of classmates. For a minute it brought me back to that movie where the guy puts glasses and instead of humans he sees aliens. With the masks on them it became rather either intriguing or scary. While I do think Eru represented as a Angel in the following,

Among the other innovations of interest to me are the ones in the spoiler those caricature drawings might be lame but in fact I find them refreshing being a part of the whole setup.

While I do am intrigued at the rather nice display of Houtarou playing around the ABC in the spoiler with of course candies of all things. Comedic and intriguing is best described as.

The angel depiction of Eru may be the best imagery of her. She really does fit in that image. Innocent and all. However it was kind of MOE and creepy to see many Erus in the spoiler crawling upon Houtarou.

About Eru Chitanda, Eru was amazing with her faces in the spoiler ranging from MOE to funny to even shinning. However it’s got better when she expressed her interest in Houtarou’s book in the spoiler at first I though all of that is great and certainly kept my interest in Eru herself. However nothing prepared me for the following,

WOW! WHAT A DEPICTION! Along with the spoiler a most amazing display of Houtarou and Eru along with the Grey/pink concept of Houtarou.

Hyouka once again comes with more innovations for its mysteries and more MOE of Eru along with artful depictions.

About the preview, all I can say is WTF in the spoiler Houtarou body display? Satoshi maybe? Does not look like one from a girl. So bath time next episode? Oh dear, I can only wonder and wait out on it.

Talk about anger, and to crimes. Then having crime is not bad. And she knows why the guy is too lazy to be angry...

lol @ another wonder of hers, which is related to her anger, which she doesn't know why. The math teacher forgot about the area of teaching and mad at what students wasn't learned (he thought they already learned that part). So she wants to know why he made mistake. "I wanna know" attack!!

A and D classes progress... "a" and "d"...

Now he's thinking if he knows about her well enough.

To onsen next ep.?

Discussing the seven deadly sins huh? Let's see here there are:

- greed
- envy
- sloth (looks @ Oreki)
- gluttony
- wrath
- pride (the root of all sins)

So is Eru the perfect little angel that God has given to this series?

I like watching the reenactments the gang think up. Pretty funny to watch.

Looks like they decided to animate from the 4th novel, tho I don't know if that is the chronological order or they are just jumping allover the place. Wouldn't be a first.

I can't get over how cute Chitanda was in this ep, especially the mini-Chitandas :P

The teacher must have a really bad eyesight. Chitanda shouldn't be "angry" to him anyway, just say, he mistook something.

Good episode,it was entertaining.

The animation as always amazing,really liked the drawing part.

The conversations was interesting,first the deadly sins,i kinda agree with Chitanda opinion you need a little of all of them since without one you will always miss something.

Oreki imagine Chitanda as a angel was funny,but at the end his illusion was crushed...poor Oreki.

I also cant imagine Chitanda mad...she is kinda to good to be mad but was nice to see another side of her.

The mystery was fun,not hard really but still not bad.

Well next episode seems Fanservice episode....cant wait!!

Just to say those small "angel-things" were best part of this episode

but than WTF?! how math teacher write letters, that was so dumb it was funny (at least he was making this up - which is kind of clever)
so this is for "mysteries" in this show - still neither of them was too clever till now

but I liked the SoL
Chitanda becomes a bit weirder, but more likable
talking about sins was fun - and also the ending
that SoL part is really nice

Chitanda is still the cutest intrusion into private space EVER.
Seriously, she hits an moe-spike whenever she gets her face so close to his

And ofc, that chibi-angel-chitanda army was the winner of this episode :D

Lol at Oreki's reactions to Chitanda insisting that he help her; and once again even if the mystery was "small" i like how Oreki broke it down; they are believable solutions which organize the components of the mystery nicely; the great animation just adds to this. The whole concept of sin and pride, along with sloth was interesting as well considering how he is changing slowly.

So close he could steal a kiss with extreme ease...Well, that was hilarious, they reminded me of the pudding "girls" from welcome to the NHKYeah, I guess any romantic development will have to wait some more... If there's any at all.

he knows nothing about the person yet he helps her the most.

So this time it's about Math teacher getting angry.

And oh how I loved Oreki just get into Eru's trap. Loving it!

I guess after all the intensity of the previous episode they needed a cool down period. This episode was alright, decent choice of visual genjutsu. Chitanda was pretty annoying though, why can she never stay out of Oreki's space? I just want to tell her to calm down.



I thought the mystery was alright,

Did not like the scene. :(

While i did enjoy the episode, this was a very weak follow-up from the last episode.

Weird but enjoyable

Chitanda is such an airhead... doesn't even understand why herself is angry o_o
