Is it just me or anyone else
tired of typing numbers and clicking the update button

i thought of something like
in facebook, the sharing button thing

while in myanimelist
something like a button in anime/manga sites
a button that when i finished watching/reading it and I can click the button that updates my entry.
it would be more faster and saves alot of time. :)
and it would also get myanimelist a lot more exposure to anime/manga lovers/otaku. :)

addition to the idea:
The button's pick can be the MAL symbol that appears in the tab the"MAL" one.

You're talking about having a MAL-button in different anime sites?

This is probably a bit too much to ask. Facebook is huge, one of the biggest sites on the web. MAL isn't even close to anything like that while having a button that updates the entry of a certain anime is too much to ask for.

MAL is too small to be so known that it'd have a button, like the Facebook Share-thing.
Not only are you asking for a button on tons of anime sites, but you also want it to be able to sense what anime you're watching, I assume? Isn't that a bit too much? Just update the list whenever you feel like it, you don't need to enter MAL after every single ep and update it. I don't think your memory is that bad.

The direct MAL -> Facebook app did exist, yeah DID.

MalUpdater looks interesting, let's hope it supports most of the known players.
