My yuri goggles felt like Natsumi wouldve confessed! XD
Well, either way. Fantastic episode.

Well that was kinda fun, better than most of earlier episodes. My body was prepared for "I love you" from Natsumi to Saki, but noooo... fuck you anime.

Also some real QUALITY this week despite a good episode.

And, yeah, the quality went real downhill this episode...

As much I agree with both of you, I think the facials expressions were rich despite like you mention in poor in quality.

The art is so inconsistent. Their faces changes everytime..

Even Phi Brain has better quality than this and that's a low budget show by Sunrise.
And is that new character a trap or not?

Is the quality going downhill because Sunrise has also Accel World to handle this season?

yeah, it's just the animation quality which took a hit this episode

That was the killing scene, I burst out laughing when I see it.

Poor Natsumi and Saki, that ture friendship right there, one not wanting the other to go and the other one wating to go.

(shrug) I didn't find the animation quality bad enough to be distracting. Enjoyed the episode as it was.

Yeah I still enjoyed the episode, but I couldn't completely ignore it xD

Still, loved the episode and really want next week to get here sooner rather than later!

Huh, I just kinda assumed it was a guy.. sounded like a woman trying to do that "Boyish" voice for her/him/it too.

WHERE THE HELL IS THE GIANT ROCK WHEN THEY NEED IT?! Second episode that the rock's been absent, feels so strange.

the new girl was being really bitchy, but then again, yuka IS an idiot

although it's questionable that the rock could even help (it doesn't allow you to wish for something to make your life easy or cheap so far), i still miss GIANT ROCK troll.. they better be saving it for an awesome wish.. i'll be waiting for that Summer-Colored Miracle..

Since I had nothing better to do, and Google Maps revealed that the locations were somewhat accurately depicted, I decided to go on some old fashion location photographing in Tokyo. (I'm not going all the way to whatever small village they live in :P )

I could try to take them at night later (a lot less people then), but my camera is not particularly good at taking pictures at night without placing it on a solid thing...

First Shinagawa Station, where they change from whatever train brought them to Tokyo, to Yamanote Line:


Then they arrive at Hamamatsucho Station, which is closest to the harbor:


Natsumi sees that they're supposed to go to the viewer's left. The harbor is on the very left of the map:




I didn't notice that this parking sign was there at first. Although in the anime, the chainlink fence is connected directly to the wall, rather than the entrance to the parking lot:


However... it seems like Natsumi is freakishly tall! o.O




But on there way to the harbor, they see Tokyo Tower...


...and run back to the other side of the train bridge. But there's something different between the view in the anime and real life...

This on was not possible to recreate. But since the show takes place in the future world of summer 2012, I guess the work has been finished by then :P


This photo is from the wrong side, because there was a big festival there today, with stages and food stands (and people) everywhere...


Also, the reason why there was no way to even attempt to look for the correct angle fro this one.


Now this is just plain cheating! The whole hall is curved, so it's impossible to get seven pillars in the same shot like they animated!

Such and awkward mix of emotions.

I really hope this ends with an extremely dramatic finale. Something awful and gory.

One word: EPIC STUFF! I could never imagine such a nice pleasant post. Indeed it seems to recreate a lot of Japan from the IRL perspective not new to anime but nicely refreshing to see in general. I +1 YOU! GOOD PERSON!

This has got to be the worst looking anime that I have ever watched. It's even worse than P4.
