Kiraly said: That said, I don't think Shakugan no Shana qualifies a mahou shoujo. If the only criteria used is 'girl with superpowers'... well, that's like half of all anime - immediate series to compare are Mahoutsukai ni taisetsuna koto, every Angelique, Brave 10 and Zero no Tsukaima. Do those qualify too? I think that if you look at "mahou shoujo" more as "girl with superpowers works toward saving the world/doing good deeds/etc" then Shakugan no Shana would seem to fit. Sure, I raised my brow at its presence on the list at first but after a bit of thinking I decided, "Yeah, it's not entirely out of place there." I don't know anything about most of the "immediate series to compare" that you mentioned, but Zero no Tsukaima probably doesn't count because it's more of a school life harem romance show. Anyway, completely unrelated to the above, I added Saraiya Goyou to Historical and will be adding Puni Puni Poemi to Mahou Shoujo in a sec. |

I think one of the features of mahou shoujo is transformation, with all the glittering sparkles and stuff. I haven't watched SnS as I'm allergic to Kugimiya Rie, but I noticed that Shana's appearance changes when she uses her powers. I've spend a few hours filtering out those that didn't fit and I hope your suggestions are well thought-out too. :) I still have a shipload of stuff to do and an exam next week. Sorry for slow responses. Remember that we still need a badge for historical anime (we have 3 images afair) and manga mahou shoujo! Links to base PSD files are in the first post. |

What about Slayers then? And I removed Mirage of Blaze from historical. It's a reincarnation story and doesn't even have so much as a flashback. |

It was either earlier in the replies to this post or in another post in the club's forum that someone suggested Slayers and it was discounted as not fitting the criteria. Friendly reminder that http://myanimelist.net/anime/593/Mugen_no_Ryvius http://myanimelist.net/anime/1792/Overman_King_Gainer http://myanimelist.net/anime/3287/Tenkuu_Danzato_Skelter_Heaven are still not considered mecha for achievements. Or at least not shown in the list. Modified by magicmaster, 06-23-12, 2:02 PM |

Well, if someone else is making Space suggestions, so will I. There are so many links that I put them under a spoiler cut: And the following need to be added to Mecha: http://myanimelist.net/anime/13731/Eureka_Seven:_New_Order http://myanimelist.net/anime/1230/Innocent_Venus A number of the titles in the spoiler cut for Space are also valid for Mecha. I wonder when the titles that were added to the gdoc on the previous page will be added to the official achi code. Some that I know count for their categories haven't shown up yet. Edit: in the midst of adding more space titles. :|b Will edit as I obtain them. Modified by Numi, 07-07-12, 9:56 AM |

I am not sure if I am allowed to post here, however Innocent Venus should be listed in the mecha achievement as well. http://myanimelist.net/anime/1230/Innocent_Venus Also I am not sure how much help I can be, however if you need anything I can give you a hand Modified by Suzune-chan, 07-05-12, 3:59 PM |

Bdiah said: Sae said: By the way, did noone suggest a Sports achievement? This one would be pretty big and definitive. And on a more humorous note, I demand a separate "Take me to Koshien!" achievement for baseball. We could fill it up with Adachi-damn-Mitsuru alone. I whole-heartedly concur with this. A quick list of over 50 that I have assembled for your convenience. After spending about 15 minutes assembling this list....yes, you could make a category entirely about baseball. Also, I would be shocked if this list was even 5% of the total number of sports entries. passing by here to add some other title to the sports list New Prince of Tennis Specials Prince of Tennis: Pairpuri Captain Tsubasa Captain Tsubasa J Captain Tsubasa: Asu ni Mukatte Hashire! Direct links are most welcome, since they contain both the entry's ID and title. Thank you for your continuous support and everything! I hope to finally have some time next week. |
