at first, there was only Gruier.. now we have Ai.. and Grunhilde slowly showing more of her awesome stuff in the sides..

who will win the best loli award of Mouretsu Pirates?

Judging from the preview it seems that the tournament is pretty messed up not to mention the organisers who even hire pirates to make sure everything goes there way.
Next week should be pretty interesting i wonder how everything will go.

Seems Marika is in danger for some reason there appears to be going on allot behind her back not to mention that she seems to be protected for some reason.
It also seems like the school has some connections in the pirate business since the seem to protect Marika for some reason and it's way to easy for her staff to get hired in that school.

Well it was pretty clear in this ep that the racing is not the normal car racing you used to see all the time. It is going to be more than just that.

A lot of interesting build up in this episode and I can't wait to see it unfold. One thing I love about this show is that they don't solve thing in a dramatic way and they always do it in the coolest possible way.

When I saw the preview of this episode, I was sure that the PE was a new character... ha-ha.... it's kane... LOOL

At first I couldn't recognize Kane in those clothes XD He was so badass this particular episode.

Kane was awesome this episode, haha his training methods were great. Looks like Lynn and the others were forgotten lol, ouch 50 laps.

That hooded man hmm I got a feeling its Marika's father too. Can't wait to find out who he is. And next episode looks pretty exciting, looking forward to that too.

I...I...I fell asleep. Unreal how boring this show is.

I'm loving Ai, she got so happy when she came in third place, it was very cute.

Suspicious man at the bar, who could it be? I don't think everyone would be playing off that Marika's dad is gone, so I really do not think it's him.

Aside from the shady guys, I think this was the worst episode of the series for now.

Not gonna lie, when the Bentenmaru shot the ocean for that race... That was one of the most badass thing's I've seen.

Hmm...Anyone realized when marika is in swimsuit somehow her boobs got smaller?

So, from a mild manner homeroom teacher, Kane just became a brutal PE teacher, but is still the school's yacht club adviser.

It kinda look like that Show may have send Marika on some mission for something darker and yes he does bend rules of any insurance policy provide that the return in profitable for him that is.

I laugh at the way Gruier drowns in the water.

Really didn't need that here (not that this infamous episodes are required in any anime, but whatever).
Wasn't bad though, because it wasn't the typical "let's have lots of moe dripping out of every corner, yay!"-nonsense.
The finale was so Dragon Ball'ish.

Nice episode, Kane is badass and the man in black were funny imo.
I'm looking forward to the next episode.

I'm glad Ai won, for a second there I was actually worried she might miss her chance. It's nice that Grunhilde is getting some attention too, she hasn't done much lately. Needs more Chiaki-chan though 4/5.

Did we forget a little bit of fanservice?? LOL Can I ride behind her??

Somewhat starting to catch up here. This episode was delicious in both Ai development and some minor service of swimwear. My thoughts follow.

Loved how Marika was surprised in the spoiler That face was quite priceless to me.

Kane in the following spoiler got a nice part with his pose there. Really cool of him and he was so full of it with energy bursting out into coaching.

I was wondering why was Grunhilde and Yayoi in the spoiler were pulling out Natalia from there. For a minute it looked like they were taking her somewhere to do something with her. Still baffling as to not wanting her to see all this till the end.

For some reason Ursula in the spoiler was really cool in the craft. Nice pose and motivation there.

Liked once again Marika’s face in the spoiler cause it was angry at Kane for doing that insane simulation.

In general that girl in the spoiler looked rather nice and mature. Her design and looks are nice.

The spaceship and insignia of the Dhingy Racing League in the spoiler were nicely done. I liked their design.

Now I was kind of worried of Show in the spoiler as the DRL would use him against Marika and her school. However it turned out not. Still he was pretty funny there surprising those girls.

The people protecting Marika in the spoiler were are all though cookies and gangster. I however am more interested in the one with hood. I wonder who is he? Since the Marika's mother reacted to him.

Despite Gruhilde cheating in the spoiler she still won and I find her sister’s face was priceless in knowing she is doing it for her. Still nice face of Serenity there.

About Marika, Marika was nice with her expression and can in hand in response to Ai along with being on the bike in the sun. However the best of her was in the spoiler when she went VS Ai seriously at the very end. Hence it was engaging.

About the Bentenmaru, from the following,

Along with the spoiler I would say Kane is nuts! Really insane to push out an artificial wave/storm like that. Wasted food was done also.

About Ai, she started in having her spotlight in this episode. Starting with a rather rich serious face here and being hilarious as Marika surprises her here. However the best of her were her faces in the spoiler from blushing to serious to a nice War Cry. She was splendid with such richness. However the best of her is the following,

The blush is unmistakable. Nicely done.

About the fan service, lovely shots of swimsuits in the spoiler notice the efforts done in showing out the asses and legs. Plenty of that. Which is nice cause there was none of it and they managed to squeeze it in nicely. Chest shots were avoided surprisingly for the most.

In thee end I can see some nice exchanges between Ai and Yayoi in the spoiler which proves a nice ending finish.

Seriously channeling some Gunbuster and Ace wo Nerae here, which is awesome. I quite liked the short scene between Marika and Ai, and how our captain was reflecting a bit about why she joined the Yacht club.

Mouretsu Pirates, the show where there is more fanservice *before* they get to the beach than after.

LOL, yet another Ace wo Nerae coach! It's fine though, every time it happens it's awesome. It's an example of a stereotype not being bad.
