ya it annoys me when people rate something that hasent even aired yet....holy shit do u want attention or r u just stupid.......

Eh, I see the premature rating as a weekly report at how you feel the anime is going. If the first few eps are general crap, then why should I waste my time watching them? Furthermore, how do I know it's crap yet if there aren't weekly grades?

But far as this show goes (and more than likely others as well), I felt like this ep was a recap on more levels than just the beginning few minutes or so. It was a recap into what Code Geass works with in terms of the atmosphere, characters, and series setup. So, you can't really rate this anime based on the first ep.

BTW, if you find a series to be worth a 1 or 3, would you go through to the end hoping it gets better or drop it on the spot and give it such a score? Cause you could interpret that kinda of scoring the same way as scoring as you go.

you have to rate the show, not to ask others to rate it for you
also you don't have to live your reality after the reality of lucky star fans or anyone else, you can rate it how you want.
I don't see why i shouldn't rate some show with 1 s only despite the fact many people like it. I mean what gives them the right to say they are right and i am not. It would really suck to be realistic, as in : to live in the reality others want you to live in.

People have diferent oppinions, you know. Just because you found an episode, or the anime itself bad, it doesn't necessarily mean it's actually bad.

Still. Rating a series at episode one, high OR low, is kinda pointless. 5-10 episodes, or half the series in, I can see it. But at ep 1? Come on.

This is harmless as we would eventually lower our rating if it didnt meet our expectations.

No one really pay attentions to ratings of unaired anime.

You should know that they executed the first episode extremely well.
It even brings us flash backs of season 1 with Lelouch ordering the enemies to suicide And so may new & interesting characters were introduced at the same time!
This is what we expect from a top notch anime.
Our ratings based on ep 1 is absolute. Ofcourse if it disappoints later on, the rating wil fall.

^ lol? Look I'm a massive Geass fan but the first episode of R2 probably isn't even a top 20 episode when you count the 25 from season 1.

I haven't watched CG, but I'll say the same thing I said in the Wagaya discussion. The anime score isn't supposed to be given with just one episode. It's supposed to be an OVERALL score. You're giving it an EPISODIC score. If you liked the episode so much, great, vote 5/5 in the episode 1 discussion topic, that's what the poll is made for. But there is absolutely no reason to throw a 10/10 as a score after FOUR PERCENT of the series has aired. What the hell of a sample is that? The score may be high, but it's actually completely meaningless. I don't see the point in what's being done.
