Lol at Kid Medaka's face at being rejected, she really is clueless to think that actually counts :P



Another weird fight was predictable but never would have guessed it to happen on the wing of a jet XD

lol Medaka she is so oblivious, and the absurd fights are still piling up, looking forward to the next chapter

in some way, I do miss the good old "school life SoL" in the first arc :P

The question is,,, Where's Kumagawa and the rest?!

probably kept somewhere and that's why Medaka has to obey the orders but yeah i want to know that too

Lol you could read Medaka like a book.
It's actually quite refreshing to see how she actually feels about Zenkichi. After Zenkichi beat Medaka and that whole kissing thing I was like "WTF what happened?", but I guess their is more to it then that.

It seems Medaka is head over heels for Zenkichi, but unfortunately she isn't to bright. LOL

Interesting development anyhow, I'm still curious what happened to the missing members. I'd understand Kumagawa losing since he is a minus and all he usually loses no matter what. However everyone else?!

Bah, guess we got to wait another week to learn more. Q_Q

...So has Medaka gotten over her first rejection or not?
Why would she kiss Zenkichi after winning the presidential election and say "I've fallen for you"?
Was that just her expression of showing extreme friendship with him?
Is she just scared of confessing again in fear of another rejection, making sure that her "first" rejection stays her "last" rejection?

I'm waiting for when Zenkichi's party defeats all the bosses (suitors) to confront Medaka.

So it's going to be another arc of one-on-one battles? That's okay with me ^^ I gotta say, with how absurd this manga is I'm actually surprised we didn't have a fight on a jet's wing before.

Little Medaka was so adorable and then she got rejected, it's unbelievable how dumb she can be. That blush was great, too.

Insane scene on the plane, how the hell did Kanaino get up there. Naze fighting is awesome, I like her a lot and it was hilarious that she washer her brother's back while wearing a school swimsuit to get the plane.

She is over her rejection as she has stated it was her first rejection and last. However, she isn't all that bright to realize her own and Zenkichi's feelings, who the suitor with her was able to figure out from just looking at her. She's not scared of another rejection either, and as for the kiss and her saying "I've fallen for you." they may not mean as much to Medaka as a normal person would think. Like the suitor stated as well.

What the suitor is afraid of is Medaka meeting with Zenkichi.(and him possibly finally telling her his true feelings.)

I believe the suitor had a line saying "It's not that she's not incapable of falling in love or forbids herself to fall in love.." I think the answer here is that she's probably always been in love and has been with Zenkichi, but she saw her first rejection for marriage as something serious who any normal kid at that age wouldn't take serious at all, so she just stopped there.(Then thought Zenkichi was amazingly kind for still being her friend after he rejected her proposal for marriage.) lol

It's just a possibility, but Medaka may be the kind of girl who thinks of her first love as her only love. Which is why she says "that was my first and last rejection." Meaning that she believes that Zenkichi is the only one for her and has thought that way since the day she was rejected. Hence why the suitor began to panic, decided to move to "stage 3" and decide Zenkichi and Medaka CAN'T meet no matter what. Since after all it would be trouble for the suitors whom plan to marry her if Zenkichi told Medaka(who all this time loved Zenkichi) his feelings for her. Just by hearing Zenkichi was coming for her she began to blush immensely and act like a girl who is just infatuated with someone. It's just one of many possibly scenarios though.

Oh yeah, looks like the battle is continue!

Man the romance is so half-assed it's kind of hilarious (but cute :T)

Also, lesson of the day: childhood friend >>>> anybody else. But in reality aren't childhood friends usually stuck in the BFF stage of no man's land?

Not really, their are examples for both; granted their are a lot of childhood friend loses scenarios; but its not like its the only scenario

I think this is indeed the case; while hopefully hints that when this arc is over Zenkichi's patience finally pays off and they get together; since the guy went through hell to keep pace with her, and how she treated him in the last arc just added to that; but then again with how this manga is structured.....who knows whats gonna happen O_O

Well I did only say "usually". I do think this childhood business is "mostly" stuck in fiction though.

As I paraphrase a visual novel, "childhood promises irl is always forgotten, only in galge does that happen" lol. And seriously, how did a little kid know the concept of marriage anyways? I sure didn't know anything as a pre-schooler. :/

If you mean Medaka its because she is a genius...well with certain things anyway XD; as for Zenkichi he might have said no for the very reason of not knowing what it was; and on the chance that he did know, most kids think stuff like that is bad, so him saying no is believable.
