Loved it. Third fav episode after Masamune & Kenshin. About 1 or 2 intros left and then off to story. Took a while. |

Well, this episode was much better than the others. Hell, if this cast was the main cast of a different series, it could've made a decent show. Everything was great, until Nobunaga appeared... |

Well I didn't meant to insult you in anyway, I just don't want this guy to take that as an exemple of what is a Haiku. It's wrong in many ways. ![]() |

Well, a ok episode. Not the best one, but the ending like usually was good. Ok, now we have, according to the opening: There's a blonde school girl, but I think is the same as the girl in the next episode... because of the thing in her hair. But, I'll not complain anymore because at least Nobunaga is back. (I love that girl ^^) Now I miss Kanetsugu... she was so adorable, and such a nice VA. Is there another anime with so much introductions? This is the first time I've seen something like that... I mean, we are in episode 7, each ep with a different protagonist. |

I didn't like this episode until about halfway through, and by the end, I was satisfied. One of the better intro episodes. My expectations for this anime are pretty much nonexistent, so it was better than I thought it would be. |

Well, I DO want to see more of the shrine girls, so I guess that's not completely true EDIT those shrine girls are probably just setting Nobunaga up to give them some sort of weapon anyway. |

Basho is so cute and nice. Not a bad ep. Finally Nobunaga appears again, sure has been a while. Wonder what they talked about or did on that boat. Hmm next episode is Hideyoshi, so I am guessing Nobunaga is going to appear in the ep a lot and maybe Hideyoshi will join her journey. |

Haiku girl Basho (8) (Ha i ku / ga-ru / ba sho) Saves drab cafe and its crew (17) (Se-bu / du ra bu / ka-fe / *not sure how to spell 'and' but it's worth 3 for sure* / i tsu / ku ru- ) Decent episode (8) (de se n to / e pi so do) Also Haiku usually have two clear ideas with a word cutting through them, your attempt has three idea, one on each line. (Haiku, her action of saving, the episode) Your 'haiku' also lack a seasonal reference Haiku aren't composed from 5-7-5 syllables but rather from 5-7-5 "on" which is different from your usual english syllable. Now you could make some other kind of poetry and it could be worth as much as an haiku but I was just saying that this isn't an haiku no matter how you look at it. ![]() |

I'd watch a show entirely about Basho-chan You're wrong! I am not the same me as I was yesterday. The me from an hour ago, the me from a minute ago, the me from a second ago! I will continue to improve myself! |

This episode reminds me of Michiko to Hatchin for some reason. Really like the feel of this episode , really different from the other episodes. Next episode looks kinda weird O_O |

Kudos to the creators, I think they have done an outstanding job with the pacing. A lot was squeezed into these 24 minutes but it wasn't rushed at all, quite the relaxing episode. 4/5. |

Actually, this would be almost accurate for a Japanese haiku (though applying "on" (or morae) to English language seems silly to me). "Haiku girl Basho" pronounced in Japanese would be 7 morae, not 5. But it also wouldn't be 8, so he is still wrong. If a Japanese person were trying to pronounce this in a Japanese dialect, it would be a bad haiku. In correct English, though, it would still be passable. “I can't stand pretty opinions!” |
