| Finally, we're shifting away from guys fishing for 5 episodes. Can't wait to see what's going to happen next, loved this episode. Also, Yuki's changed so much since the start of the show, it's unbelievable. And it was done really well. |

| great developments in this episode with a noticeable darkening of the mood...an anime that i started out just liking has grown into something much more impressive and complex...great show! funny so many people are being creeped-out by the actions of haru in this episode - obviously his motivations are those of an alien and are therefore inscrutable...the guy does not have a sense of human morality/normality and thus is the wild card in this show - haru is not being controlled by outside forces but doing what he was sent to earth to do, but the problem is (what's causing his inner conflict) is that he's beginning to really love these humans he's been living with/observing...what he does and where this leads will decide the story... |

No, but the fact he's been actively trying to learn human customs and understand the people he's been living with and how they feel and respond to things made it surprising to watch him seemingly turn on them all at the drop of a hat. Even then, he still seemed reluctant by the time he'd gotten to Akira. Just because Haru is an alien, I don't think he's... malicious. And there's a definite personality distinction between him and his sister. What he did looked like something Koko would do, to me, rather than.. him. It was just unexpected because of that, I think. |

| Probably him being controlled. Still holding onto the idea that Haru is some kind of deity, or regarded as one, while actually being an alien. And that he's returned to fight the five headed dragon mentioned at the beginning of episode 1. He was probably resisting it when his hand started to tremble, and he said story he flipped his shit and started shooting people. I like to think that the floating triangles are something to do with hearts or something. Since the story at the beginning of episode 1 had a heart spinning above at least one of the heads of the dragon. And on the shore, at the harbour, and at the party, Haru keeps clutching his chest. After he'd had his triangle shattered by the larger one. Of course this all makes sense in my head though, because I live there, picking all these details and putting them together to form some disfigured picture that I guess could make sense if you look at it from an uncomfortable angle. And in episode 1 again, there was the bit at the end "Hey, let's save the world together!" then Yuki doing a voice over with "I didn't think we'd actually end up saving the world. Not in the least." Since he did say "we", then I assume he meant Haru. And as he says that last line, it shows the faces of Akira and Natsuk, so them too. So I have faith that Haru doesn't have any ulterior motives, and that he was being controlled. Maybe his sister though. Developing piss-poor theories is what you miss when you watch a series after it's finished. I have no idea what everybody else is thinking about it so far. Also I'm thinking that dragons and stuff is actually a pretty likely thing to happen, since I think I remember seeing something about this being the director's most normal-seeming series? | Akira saw the lure in the dragon's mouth. The dragon is what caused the giant bait ball. It's what controlled Haru. The goal of the anime is for them to catch the dragon. |

I start to think the fishes are manipulated by the dragon, even manipulated Haru too + his halo destroyed by bigger one. Does this mean the Dragon is also a alien too? So wait no one in shows knows about the Dragon Triangle and yet they called Akemi? Even DUCk only interesting in the Bermuda Triangle only. |

| holy crap that was such a shocking turn of events, totally changed the mood of the anime at the end with Haru, went from annoying to slightly creepy in a weird way... either way I do like this sudden change in pace, hope it keeps going.. nice to see grandma at the end eating some tuna as well :) |
