It takes me a few episodes to remember the names of most characters but, a while after I've finished watching the anime, I tend to remember only the ones which either showed up constantly, or the ones I liked more than the others... The rest, I just forget with time.

I'm not that bad with names, but I do forget in some cases. Jormungand, as mentioned above, I honestly don't even care. Jonah, Koko, Kasper, that's all I got. Oh, Valmet too. Normally though, I'll memorize most of the names, and if I don't remember exactly, I might look it up. Usually takes about 5 episodes for me to get them all down.

For series that are 12-13 episodes long, it depends if the character's name is something special, otherwise I won't remember it. If the series is longer than that I remember them faster.

I usually remember the main characters names...females more. :3

It's About The Name, Luffy From One Piece Was So Easy To Memorize, Dislike That Pink haired Girl From Anime Called "Princess Lover!" I Still Don't Know Her Name. :x

If I really enjoyed the anime/characters, then it doesn't take very long at all.

For example, it took me like, 3 episodes to memorize the characters names in Madoka. And I still only remember the names of maybe 2 characters from Air. It all depends.

Depending on the characters and show I won't remember character I don't care for. Sometimes I do end up remembering them anyway. Oops. lol.

But other than that I can remember character names pretty easily.

Depends on the characters.
If they have unusal names then i remember them faster.
Also if i like the character.

Unless they are very memorable, I don't ever remember their name.

sometimes it takes alot !!

it's completely random for me. sometimes it may take most of the series and sometimes it's the first time their name is mentioned. Like for me it took me to the end of lucky star to remember Konata, Kagami, Tsukasa, and Miyuki. but for Shakugan no Shana the names immediately stuck with me the first time they were said. ah well my life is just weird this way :)

All depends on the way I see the character(funny,sad,ect) and how many times I hear their name spoken. Also their appearance sometimes help. Like if the wear giant antlers on their heads or if they have 4 eyes then I'll definitely remember them and most likely their name.

I don't remember names. I only remember appearances. I usually forget character names, unless if the character was memorable. But even then it would take 3-4 episodes. :/

i've finished most series not knowing all of the main characters' names. even for the ones i really liked, it takes around 8 episodes, and then I forget a lot of them after watching 5 or 6 new shows

It usually takes me about 1-2 episodes to get the hang of the names, but for some reason I remember none of the names from seitokai yakuindomo. Probably because I watched it all in one go and I was tired as hell.

Oh my god, Fate/Zero took me at least 9 episodes.

Kiritsugu, Kotomine, Kariya, etc. They all started with the damn letter K! Not to mention that Kotomine and Kiritsugu really look alike to a first time watcher...

Depends on two things:
-The length of the series in general, if it's long then i start to remember names and if it's short i usually don't remember any/or maybe a few until the show is done.
-Are they memorable characters? If so then the name while never be forgotten but if it's some supporting character or even main character who just doesn't do anything memorable beyond all belief then i forget.

Most of the time it takes me an episode or two but for some characters it takes me a little while longer.
