Points Criteria
Every week:

• +1 point for each user who has anime under "Currently Watching" or "Completed" that week on MAL
  
• Double the anime's "Currently Watching" points for the week if 4 or less players have it on their active team
  
• +25 points for each forum post in the anime's episode discussion threads in the previous two weeks (counted every two weeks)

Scored only once:

• +1000*((un)weighted score) points for score ratings on MAL upon week 7
  
• +2000*((un)weighted score) points for score ratings on MAL at the end of FAL season (week 14)
  
• -5 for each user who has anime under "Dropped" upon week 7
  
• -10 for each user who has anime under "Dropped" at the end of FAL season (week 14)
  
• +30 points for every user favoriting the anime at the end of FAL season (week 14)

Next week is going to be very interesting.

And yet again I plummet.

Sakamichi no Apollon will destroy us all!

And to think I was debating between it and Medaka Box for spot 7 on my team before the season started :/

Huh, I went up 4 places. That was unexpected.

It probably won't last for long, though. I will really take a hit next week, as I don't have 2 of the three highest-rated frontrunners (Kore wa Zombie, Sakamichi no Apollon), but do have the low-rated Medaka Box active.

*cough*Eureka Seven AO*cough*

At least Medaka was useful in the earlier weeks.

Ok, I'll go drop Apollon just in case.

Wow, Hyouka almost took top points this week. I didn't do an ace this week because it was just too close. I really don't know how i'm still moving up places when Eureka Seven AO is doing a lot worse than I was expecting.

Indeed it was, but unfortunately I can't lie and pretend Eureka Seven wasn't a "sure bet" for me before the season. I'll never again overestimate sequels for series that are older than 2 years AND had no open ending. Last Exile sequel's popularity should have been a hint ^^.

Ever since Hyouka started airing my ranking has been decreasing...
My mistake for not having done proper research...

I had a brain fart and forgot to ace Hyouka. :(

Wait, no. Sankarea got 100 more viewers and 40 more forum posts in the 2 hour span since I checked the numbers. The dangers of anime that air on Sunday.

Wait a minute. The forum posts for Sankarea episode 5 and 6 don't add up. How do you guys count the posts?

They count all new replies in ANY episode post. What matters is when the reply was made, as that determines when that series gets the points. So for Sankarea it looks like this, if I did my counting right:

1: 3
2: 3
3: 4
4: 26
5: 155
6: 101

Darn I should have aced Hyouka last week.
Guess I should swap out Medaka as I will take a hit from the 'Dropped' demerit and the unweighted score bonus.
Why did I pick Tsuritama over Sankarea grrr.
