Actually, I prefer K-On Manga than the anime. Maybe it's just because I read it before watched it. The anime is great but it's too..slow. 4 volumes of manga packed in 2 seasons with total 39 episodes (not including OVA and movie). Well yes, u can please ur eyes and ears in the anime, but the story..I like manga better. So this news is really shocks me |

Personally I think the author is just ending one of the mangas since working on two is difficult. Hopefully he just plans to merge the two. Hoping for a third season! Also lol @ haters. Japan loves moe so deal with it. |

Heaven forbid people liking the K-ON! franchise. Anyway, I assume Kakifly stops because it's too much to do two at a time. After all, he'd be working pretty much non-stop on the two mangas and I can easily see that getting very tedious eventually, not to mention stressful. What I do hope is that this doesn't mean he'll repeat thew high school nits over and over again with newer characters. I think a lot of ans wouldn't forgive him for discarding the old characters they've grown used to and love. Let Azusa and co graduate, and either finish the story there, or continue with all of them in college. As much as Sumire and Nao have become interesting characters, I don't really care if we'll never hear from them again. I always saw them as replacements for the older cast, never really as full-fledged solo characters. |

@AO968 I'm thinking that might be what he's doing, freezing the college arc to let Azusa catch up. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Because loooooooool if you think K-ON! is truly going away. This guy. I pray that it stays popular just so that these butt hurt people will stay butt hurt for the rest of their lives. And I don't even particularly like K-On. LOOOL |

Hopefully it's just as the others have said and he is only stopping one of the mangas to focus on one! After all it's not like the mangas have been running all that long to begin with, and it would be ending just to soon! Guess we'll have to see what happens with it. ![]() It's easy to compliment someone that you'll never envy, but even easier to try and tear down someone who's better than you. |

The new manga has been pretty weak, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want it to keep on continuing regardless. Kind of a stupid time to end it considering they're only halfway through the school year they started on. ![]() |

The way I understood it, the High School story was not ending. I'm guessing it's going to continue until Azusa, Ui, and Jun graduate. And then the other 4 will show up for their last performance, and it will end with something like they are all going to the same college, and everything will be all happy again. |
