As many of you may have noticed, there were some recent issues with the BBCode for links (especially images) that caused profiles, blogs and forum posts to become garbled BBCode-HTML mixes.

This should have been fixed now. However, it will not fix itself retro-actively, so you may need to update your profile/blog/post with the correct code. [url] tags for https links should also be fixed with this update.

If you are having any issues with the BBCode on your profile/blog/posts after updating, please let us know.

What caused this issue in the first place and why did it take months to fix?

Some changes were made to improve the code, and as often happens with these things, managed to break other things in the process.

If you haven't already realised, we unfortunately do not have a full-time developer on staff so it takes time for things to get fixed. However, we're actively doing everything we can to get more improvements to the site, so please bear with us.
