It is fixe, great thing to hear.
But is it possible that there may be a unicode problem then? I has thought, this must fall into the same problem, but it seems not to.

Upon post edition the title of a topic gets currpted, it it contained some specific german letters for instance. (ö ä ü ß). They end up being things like "ü", "Ã", ÃÃ¼ or such.

The two things are not related, the unicode problem has been there before.

Can you send me a PM with an example code (you can upload it here: http://pastebin.com) and say where you tried to edit it (profile, forum, blog, etc.)?

Can anyone help me? Currently I have the following code:

Yet it doesn't work: the YouTube part. Help please?
Thank you.
Courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality.

One of life's greatest blessings, is the freedom to pursue one's goals.

We are all walking through a wonderfull dream, a dream called youth.

The very key is needed to unlock the courage which resides in everyone.

The BBCode in my signature still hasn't been fixed (on my profile). I don't know why though. It seems to work in the forums like here.

As the first post says, old broken code doesn't necessarily fix itself, so you need to update it with the correct code yourself.

Sorry, do you know how I can do that? I'm completely clueless on how to update it.

Basically, you have to remove all html parts and replace them with the corresponding bbcode part.

For example, replace

<!--link--><a href=" with [url]
"> with ]
<img src=" with [img]
" border="0" /> with [/img]
" border="0[/img] with [/img]

This is everything I could find in your signature. There might be more in other codes. Sometimes it's useful to use an "html to bbcode converter" (google this) to reduce the html tags before replacing the rest. There are several converters and not all can handle the mess.

One problem is that the closing [/url] tag often gets lost. It's important to add any missing [/url] in your signature because otherwise it can cause problems on the forums.

The alternative is to write all the code from scratch which can be faster than to sort out the mess (assuming that you know exactly how the final code is supposed to look like).
