I think I speak for most people when I say the Benizakura Arc. Below is the fake trailer they showed in the recap episode.




For the Arcs that aren't subbed yet:

-The Ryugu-jo Arc is when Gintoki, Shinpachi, Kagura, Kyuubei, Otae, Hasegawa, and Katsura are stranded on an island.

-The Yoshiwara Arc: In Edo's redlight district, Gintoki's wallet was stolen by a boy who needs the money to buy a woman who he claims to be his mother. Also Kagura has an unexpected run in with a close relative that she hasn't seen in years...

-The Otsu Tournament Arc: Shinpachi's Otsu fanclub is diminishing. The perpetrator is none other than Tosshi (aka Otaku Hijikata) who lured most of Shinpachi's club to his. Tosshi made his own fanbase for Otsu called the Tsusengumi which is the reigning Otsu fan club that dethroned Shinpachi's club which was number one. In order for his club to be number one again, they both enter Otsu's tournament contest to become the official Otsu fan club.

So far Benizakura been my favorite.

Awesome song indeed. I take it that people would have seen Benizakura arc before voting or anything, it's listed as first option.

Voted Itou arc. I just cannot explain how much I enjoyed watching it.
It is that good ;)

I just saw enough to make me impatient for it. Like...

I really liked that android arc (for its sweetness and lolness) but my favorite would have to be um~ crap, undecided >__< between the Benizakura and Itou arc. Itou, I guess, for its screen time. ..Ahh nvmz~ I really don't know, sorry.

*not exactly a spoiler xp just put that there in case someone out there wants their Itou arc to be 100% surprising @_@*

I really liked the Benizakura arc but I can't wait for the Itou one. The fighting in Benizakura was so good, it was like production values were tenfold.

Here are a few bits about the Itou arc (major spoilers)


The fights in this arc are as good or better than in the Benizakura arc. It depends on how you look at it. What made me like it the most is

I'd say either the android arc or the Kyuubei arc. The android arc for an obvious reason; Maid army. And the Kyuubei arc simply because I really like Kyuubei, and that toilet episode made me laugh more than any other Gintama episode have done so far.

You forgot the arc with Kagura and her dad.
Will vote after I catch up with fansubs.

I thought arcs were 3-5 episodes? Otherwise the one with Kagura father and Gintoki's lost memories would count.

Edit: Screw it I'll add mini arcs too. =P

I am just on episode 41, so it feels stupid to vote now. Me and my sister watches Gintama together (and since none of us wants to miss even a single episode XD) it's pretty hard to get time when both have free time XD

Oooi, this is unfair for us who doesn't know Japanese, you made me want to watch the later arcs even more~ xD

But so far, the Kyuubei arc was my favorite. :3

what about Bentendo Owee arc (98-99) ?

Oh forgot that one. Big lulz for those episodes.
