I've been trying to upload my new avatar. I've saved the avatar as the three types - gif, jpg, and png. If I try to upload the gif one, the last avatar I had uploaded as a gif appears. If I try to upload, the jpg one, the last avatar I had uploaded as a jpg appears etc. I've tried clicking the remove avatar button but it does not work. How can I use my new avatar?

Change the format. If the last you uploaded was jpeg, remove the avatar then upload a png avatar. If it still doesn't show up, wait. Sometimes others can see your new avatar before you.

Yes, I said that I have saved my new one to all the formats and I've tried each of them. I've been trying for a few hours.

Maybe the trick doesn't work when you used a gif before, only with jpg/png.
If uploading an image of a different format doesn't help you need to wait patiently until the server changes your avatar. This can take some hours or sometimes days, but eventually it should change.

Okay, I'll wait. I'll revive this post in about 48 hours.

Avatar still hasn't changed as I suspected it wouldn't. This is the one I am trying to change it to.



Edit: Did someone change it for me or did it change itself? Thanks it seems to be working now~

Same problem as before yada yada yada. My old gif is being persistant when I want to use a new gif. It's been about 24 hours since I tried to change it.

I already see this new gif. Please be patient, it will change eventually for you like it did last time.
