Such a beautiful episode. ;___; So much heart-breaking drama. </3 And those pictures of Ritsuko and Sentaro as kids were just too cute. ♥

So much jazz in this episode! ♥ And Jun's amazing. *A*

I loved this episode so so much. When Kaoru said those things to Sentaro, I wanted to cry from just seeing Sentaro's blank expression. I truly love the character of Sentaro, along with the other characters as well. They are portrayed very well in a realistic manner.

And can't forget the amazing performance by Jun. I can see why Yurika was captivated by him from that moment.

I was very impressed with the amount of development, the jazz at the end was awesome too, I don't even listen to jazz that much. XD

I'm just going to go fangirl in this corner now...

I wonder why a virgin like Kaoru attacks Ritsuko so actively.

fanboy mode. this anime is definitely worth it.

No, it was in "english". That prayer is one of the most infamous examples of engrish ever.
Dont get me wrong, I dont think Suwabe is a bad seiyuu (In fact, he's doing a great job in Sakamichi no Apollon), just sayin'.

Ritsuko just gets one surprise after another huh! Kaoru you sly dog you ;3. Too bad things start to develop between Jun and Yurika, its not nessesary a bad thing i guess for some people . Not everyone has a happy ending .

Please let it be KaoruxRitsuko! I'm going to feel very disappointed if it isn't.

God, I loved every bit of this episode! It had everything- the jazz, the emotions and the romance. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen XD
Kaoru kissing Ri-chan was very unexpected indeed. And man, my worst fear turned out to be true after all- there's gonna be a love triangle between Sentarou, Yurika and Jun. So, things will get interesting now.
Btw, who had this urge to punch hard that drunk racist guy at the bar? :/

SnA is getting better and better with every episode. It's gonna be my fav anime of this season if it keeps this up. Looking forward to the next episode xD

This anime has so far yet to disappoint and this was probably the best episode yet. Sentarou actually had a very emotionally moving back story, being abandoned and seen as a outcast. It wasn't the typical form of discrimination you see in anime e.g hair colour, height or strength. Due to the anime being set shortly after WWII, though sad, its understandable that he would face a certain level of hate due to his racial background.

Of course there was also all that jazz. Loved how Kaoru got Sentarou to step his game up by communicating through his playing. Got to say as well, Junichi's english was quite decent.

Good episode although Sen's background story is a bit confusing . But after a look at the manga I understand now. Basically Sen's mom got pregnant from an American soldier and after Sen was born, his parents fled Japan leaving Sen's mom's brother (Sen's uncle) to look after him. So the kids that Sen's usually with are actually his cousins and he leaves with his aunt and uncle.

Wow lots of development on this one and as Kaoru narrates in the end, unexpected. This characteristic seems to translate to this series as well, at the current 4th episode it looks predictable at the surface but it still manage to be unexpected here and there.

I'll be glad if Yuriko and Jun get together. Get them out of that trio. I love Jun but seriously he's just out of everyone's league. If he sticks around any longer Ritsuko will start falling for him. And then Richie...followed by everyone else. Who wouldn't?

I never expected this series to be this good. I am glad I picked it up because all I've been seeing these days are anime shows with no brains or development. However, this is a surprise and I am totally drawn to the beauty of this series. I like how everything comes out quick and then takes it time to settle. Definitely one of the best of this season.

Wow amazing episode once again and now I must say I can't wait till next week to see what is going to happen.
This anime just keeps on leaving me wanting more -.-

Now that was a surprise... Yurika fell for Jun. I wonder how Sentarou will react... Could it be possible for him to chase Ritsuko later?
