My school is a grammar school so I'm pretty sure Oxfam (charity shop) has more manga than we do. Basically, we've got two old Tokyopop preview collection and that's it. My friends school, which I would have went to if I didn't get into the grammar school, is a bit better off and has series like Love Hina, Black Cat, D.N.Angel, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Tail of the Moon. Unfortunately... it doesn't have volume one of anything besides Fruits Basket... and then it just skips to volume 17. |

My high school had it's own little corner of manga and comics in the library and it was really varied to some old ones that i never heard of and some shoujos and shouens that everyone is very familiar with and just to name a few: Bleach, Naruto, Fruits Basket and Death Note are a few i can remember off the top of my head. |

kuuderes_shadow said: Depends on where you live. My large public library has a fairly large collection of manga.School? large public libraries don't have manga in them. There was no chance that my school library would have had some. However, my university does not stock manga at all, though I've found a few graphic novels like Bones there. |

I didn't get into manga until after high school. I don't think my public library had any manga back then, either. Not surprising, it was late 90s-early 2000s. They didn't start getting American comics until later. My college library - never looked for them, but I don't recall any comics other than Watchmen, which I believe was a text for some English course. IXTRALUVGIRLSWITHGLASSES |

None. :p We have a terrible library to begin with. Even our local library doesn't have much more than Bleach and Naruto. |

School's empty. Unfortunately, so is the local library. It has little more than Naruto and Dragon Ball. |

I used to be in public school and it didn't know what anime and manga was. Of course it seemed to know what annoying teen books ( ex: twilight) were because it had millions of those. |

My school mainly had Shonen and Shoujo manga: -Bleach -Naruto -Claymore -Shaman King -Dragonball -Air Gear -Fullmetal Alchemist -Absolute Boyfriend -Vampire Knight -Black God -Fruits Basket -W Juliet -Rosario + Vampire -Yu-Gi-Oh Now that I think about it, I'm actually quite surprised at the amount of manga my school had, considering the attitude of roughly 99% of the student population. |

High school : The Man of Many Faces College: Mars 1, Imadoki! 1, Petshop of Horrors 1, and other older manga that I can't remember that came out in the US in 2004/2005/2006. Probably dragonball, yu yu hakusho, shaman king etc. My college used to have a anime/manga club that was disbanded before I got there, so the manga in the library is left over from that.
