Actually a lot less than Stalker predicted for Nise, but Stalker always overestimates major hits (its BD count for Madoka was exaggerated by over 80%), though this less so than in the past. Still, 57k, easily the best seller of the year and one of the best selling shows ever. Hopefully it can average 60k, but it'll need to be very consistent from here on out and have big second and third weeks. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

Eh, no drop for Inu x Boku SS? That's one thing I wasn't expecting. The series turns out to be a real success after all, and not just a good performance on the discounted volume only to dwindle later on. EVOL did about as predicted, though I would have loved to see Stalker slightly underestimating it for it to break the 10k mark right away. For what it's worth, it's the first show I'm importing in a while, and I'm afraid it'll be joined by at least one spring series soon enough... |

I'm so happy to see Inu Boku is second best to Nise for Winter Sales... Can't believe it beat DxD and Boku Tomodachi....shows the power when it caters to both girls AND boys. At least, I THINK it appeals to guys? I'm no guy so I dunno. I think its eligible for a S2? How is Volume 3 for Inu X Boku doing? And ouch Brave 10. D: if only it had been executed better... Symphogear still going strong... So happyto see tamayura...shows there are still fuwa fuwa fans in the world. |

Inu x Boku SS definitely appeals to guys too, yes. It's one of the most successful late night anime I've seen at hooking both so equally. You can see that in the even DVD/BD spread - shows that appeal only to guys virtually never sell half their copies on DVD. phoenixalia said: I think its eligible for a S2? Easily. How is Volume 3 for Inu X Boku doing? It's doing fine. With Vol. 2 barely dropping at all I don't expect Vol. 3 to drop much either. And ouch Brave 10. D: if only it had been executed better... It completely nosedived for Vol. 2. I guess Vol. 1 came with an event ticket or something. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

So sales of NMG are a bit lower than excepted but not so bad. Good to see that Haganai, Working-2, InuBoku, Horizon and High Scghool DxD didn't suffer large drop of sales. P.S.: Need to watch NMG at last Modified by Nachtwandler_21, 05-01-12, 3:00 AM |

Umm why does everyone keep saying Nise is a failure? Was it supposed to sell 80k or something? I think BKM sold something like that. Also, I noticed that Stalker predicted 10k copies more than what's here. |

The full list isn't out until Thursday (sometimes not posted on livedoor until Friday though) but even then I'm not sure it'll rank. It'll be maybe 800 max though. I'm just mostly hoping the threshold in the full list is low enough for Mouretsu v2 to chart, since it was just restocked at Amazon a couple days ago. It'll probably be too high though, because I don't think v1 will add another 1500 or whatever it's gonna need to rank. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |

Also, I noticed that Stalker predicted 10k copies more than what's here. I would hope/assume they're joking. It did sell a lot less than Stalker predicted (~16k less total) but like I said above, Stalker always overcounts super super high sellers so I expected it to be less (though I still thought 55k BDs at least). Nise is overcounted less than other major Vol 1s have been though. For example, Stalker predicted 96,597 BDs for Madoka, which was an overestimate of a whopping 82.5%. Steins;Gate BD was overcounted 57.9% and AnoHana BD was overcounted 41.7%. Obviously Stalker has used these findings to refine the formula it uses to calculate high sellers since then, because Nise was "only" overcounted about 30%. but that's not so rare for Vol. 1s, which are hard to estimate, especially when a series ranks highly for a long time. But at the very least you'll get a good ballpark estimate. I will note that Stalker is going to be largely useless for the rest of the Nise volumes because Aniplex and Amazon seem to be having a dispute, and none of the upcoming Nise (or Persona, or BD boxsets) volumes can be ordered at Amazon and it's been like that for over a month now. I gave up and ordered Nise and the Kannagi BD box from HMV instead. BUY YUYUSHIKI BDS ALL DAY EVERY DAY |
