According to the FUNimation blog, FUNimation Entertainment announced the acquisitions of home media rights to the feature film King of Thorn and simulcasting rights for the this season's TV series Eureka Seven AO. Full episodes for Eureka Seven AO will become available during spring 2012. I am never really sure how I feel when Funimation acquires an anime. They had FMA Brotherhood in the past and now they have Eureka AO |

Eureka Seven's dub was pretty decent, so I'm okay with this. I hope. I've never even heard of King of Thorn, though. |

King of Thorn was a good pick I think. Even if it crumbled under some issues, it's a great movie overall and I think it's suited for western audience. Eureka was obligatory indeed, even if AO seems like an unnecessary milkingfest so far. |
