If it's one flaw this show has it's that, while it's nice Rocket Gang are not used as much and are more competent, it's that their schemes are still doomed to fail since the series would be over if they succeeded (like capturing Pikachu and all the previous Pokemon back in Raimon City, or capturing Landlos, Tornelos, and Voltlos) So that makes these two-part Rocket Gang episodes a bit less exciting than they probably should. But still, interesting epsiodes, especially since Abagoura is one of my favorite Pokemon. Definitely looking forward to seeing Pokabu's trainer more, though. |
