THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zenigata gets to do Fujiko?????????????????????????? (Picks jaw up off of floor...) No wonder he is in such a good mood throughout the episode, even when he doesn't catch Lupin. I'd be smiling too if I could screw Fujiko as part of my job! All-in-all, an amazing episode. This is cool shit - no doubt about it... |

Yeah, I thought she just acted but he really did do her, that lucky bastard. Lupin finally makes his appearance again and I laughed when he said that he missed Fujiko's boobs. The whole scenario of tricking everyone and Ayan hiding in the catacombs because she wants to be with Darenzo is questionable. Darenzo tried to strangle Fujiko in one moment and in the next moment she was chilling on the couch. I hope the next episode continues right from where they left off. That is because I want to see more of Fujiko's past, we saw something strange when she stood in the water affiliated to Lethe, she is the center of this show and I want to learn more about her. |

Loved the Tosca parts, but I was a bit suprised at Zenigata, Also, Oscar continues to be annoying character. |

so this ep we had fujiko "proper" meeting with Zenigata. cause of mask that lupin want to get. stage performance turned Phantom of the Opera story like. oh lupin missed fujiko's "fujiko". Zenigata going all after lupin & got pour in blood. fujiko look at water floor see her past. oh the stage worker & performer went behind it oh burn the mask. here lupin to see fujiko. ok so now wonder what next how much more fujiko's past will be revealed? That faggot Oscar gots to go. Did they seriously just ruin Zenigata image. In all 3 series and movies Zenigata was never a pervert. Lupin was always the most horniest when it comes to Fujiko. I like everything about the episode except Oscar and how the present Zenigata. |

Worst ep so far. Cheap plot resolve, nearly no interesting character interaction (yeah he groped her boob) and the introduction of the inspector and Oscar were just meh compared to the others. The way Fujiko was treated felt quite demeaning, yet she didn't seem to care that much. |

Probably the least interesting of the first four episodes, but that's Mine Fujiko we're speaking about, so it was still very good. |

My ranking of the episodes so far: 2 > 3 > 4 > 1. bonifide said: That faggot Oscar gots to go. Did they seriously just ruin Zenigata image. In all 3 series and movies Zenigata was never a pervert. I don't get what you're getting worked up about, he has always had a sexual drive. Like in his dream in First Contact. Just because he got laid doesn't make him a pervert. Well okay, there was the groping as well, but I think it fits the hard-boiled Zenigata in this darker Lupinverse. Also, care to clarify what's wrong with Oscar? |

So this episode was half Phantom of the Opera, half Final Fantasy VI. And this... Zenigata said: I'm telling you, she's a great actress capable of hitting the high notes, even when she's not feeling much of anything. ...was the greatest innuendo (especially in context) that I've heard in a long time. |

The opera scene is still the greatest scene in the series. ... Great, now I gotta replay FF6. |

Well, i didn't expect actual sex to happen tbh, not with main characters. But with Fujiko's way of being, it's not that suprising. I would rather get Lupin to do her than Zenigata though, he didn't seem like someone do to it. Then again, he didn't do well it, poor guy. Still dat's Fujiko he hit. (`-´)> Awesome episode, it was awesome to see Lupin himself again. Hakuromatsu said: Count me in for that, he might've did poorly but he sure doesn't feel like it. Zengata's the man.And this... You name one movie out of 200+ episodes and like 18 movies. I'm just not use to this type of Zenigata. I do know in the 1st series is was more darker. They basically made him seem like a Lupin of cops in this episode. Lupin always did the touching. Then again this is the green Jacket Lupin so its different. Yeah i know its a prequel and focus on Fujiko. I did see just about everything Lupin except the live action movies. I know thats how Fujiko act i just didnt like the way they portrayed Zenigata. They portrayed Jigen and Goemon perfectly. Modified by bonifide, 04-26-12, 9:50 AM |

I've never seen another Lupin series so I can't really comment on characters being misrepresented - But I am loving this series, it doesn't have the same uncultured sex appeal of a lot of anime nowadays - Mine Fujiko is a sex symbol but she's classy and sophisticated! Having said that this ep was pretty confusing - I will have to watch it again sometime |

wow, I wasn't expected that scene. Not that I minded but I wonder if it was a good idea... I'm not familiar with the franchise but I know that there wasn't many explicit sex scenes in Lupin with Mine Fujiko. That would make the fans annoyed because it's being unfaithful to the original and previous series. :O Anyway, I enjoyed this episode! Was great to see Lupin's back but he didn't do much in this episode... But the chili sauce attack was hilarious! XD |

I haven't read it, but I'm wondering if this series is more in line with the original manga. Just a thought. ![]() |
