THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Another great episode of Medaka. What made it so great was a final COMBO BREAKER of Medaka’s panties and fan service streak, whom I did not see any of. That’s good. Nice change finally. The episode really got me going in the second half with that request of the following,

That new girl is bomb! Her faces in the spoiler
were all gold. Rich shy expressions, short hair and they are spiky. What’s more surprising is that Medaka actually meets up with the girl. Usually a president is so busy should would not meet a student for such a personal matter. Medaka was such a nice tease here towards her. She was weird around Kouki in the spoiler
yet Kouki was great in perseverance. All it took was a nice memory with young Medaka here, whom I appreciated and her serious face saying out words. BOOM! Kouki super perseverance sudden mode on. Whom is my favorite part since that’s where the new girl has a terrific reaction. The talk Kouki had with Medaka in the spoiler
was not only rich in terms of expressions and comedy but it also sent a shock towards Kouki of how Medaka responded to him.

Kouki in thee end made a SUPER JOB! Just super perseverance to train out that girl. Great expressions and BGM around. I ROFL at the random Medaka with a Zenkichi bee. He did such an amazing job it lead to a confession in the spoiler
which hopefully went well. As a result, Medaka sure rewards him here and her smile rewards me here! Of course Kouki could not resist nor could I really.

About the beginning, it had 2 things that made it win for me. First of all loads and loads of Nekomi faces and expressions in the spoiler
MOE BLOW OUT! Totally. Add the fact her expression goes on like Kobato from Haganai and we have some crazy stuff appealing too much to me. The fight itself was pretty cool, however not really fair in showing Kouki as a dual serpent and Zenkichi as an ant. Rather very nice slam of Kouki on Zenkichi during the match and the members certainly worry over the fight. They are interested in where this is all going. Kouki’s face here looked nice.

Lovely faces and encouraging Medaka in the spoiler

MOE all over. In fact I think Medaka begging makes anyone melt in front of her. In thee end Zenkichi got slammed badly and lost. However the following,

Is really what mattered…………it’s called sportsmanship. It makes a difference.

About Shiranui, she had 2 things going on. First of all her facial expressions in the spoiler
still kept kicking out the bucket nicely. Enticing her fans good. Shiranui essentially kept the comedy going too with Zenkichi as a setup of an aftermath before the next setup. I still do not get WTF with her eating habits in the spoiler
she must have super hyper metabolism.
Bet you 100$ she gulp down over 100 hotdogs no problem. In fact I think she is like Lina Inverse.

About the fan service, where Medaka got too much of it is where the girls have their turn at Kouki in the spoiler
am I to assume that more of him will be seen in the Bds? If so then I see some girls getting this. They love this stuff. In fact Kouki is really prince charming for many girls. Too bad in Japan not many are like him, else there would be more births. Medaka was funny picking random thrash and while doing writing here.

About preview, another loli with Shiranui in the spoiler
why she looks like TANESHIMA FROM WORKING!? OMG! That’s amazing. I liker from the series so a slight resemblance is not a bad thing. Can’t wait to see her next episode. Looks like we got some rivalry in the spoiler
sound interesting since Zenkichi is barging into it.

BTW Intermission in the spoiler
is nice and new of Medaka. I like it.

I like the way Kouki decorated the student counsel office with flowers not to mention his fabulous chest.

I don't know if I'd love or hate to be Shiranui's doctor with what she eats and how much she eats.

Picking up from the previous episode. Yes, the match:

Medaka cute face:

Lol funny and enjoyable match.

Second part of the episode begins with a new job and a cute job at that.

Also throughout this entire episode, pay attention to the blue loli. It adds flavor to the episode

^_^

Zenkichi got slammed badly and lost. However the following,
Is really what mattered…………it’s called sportsmanship. It makes a difference.

Zenkichi didn't lose. In the match they gave Zenkichi a handicap against Kouki. Kouki had to score 10 points to win and Zenkichi had to score only one point. Kouki only scored 9 and as he was about to get the final point Medaka told Zenkichi not to lose or else she'd cry and BAM Zenkichi made a comeback and got a point off of Kouki, winning him the match.

It's easy to compliment someone that you'll never envy, but even easier to try and tear down someone who's better than you.

The way I understood was the Kouki clearly did much more to Zenkichi and that would technically make him win the match. What you are saying is that it was set-up to make it easy for Zenkichi, whom I refuse as making it official that he won. In fact the whole winning was mainly due to Medaka acting out pity.

Officially with scoring and movements Kouki technically is at win. Hence why I consider him to be a winner.

Of course none of the match was competition however this is why I mention sportsmanship due to the match being more friendly. I just consider more Kouki to be the winner. I should have made more clear like I just did. My bad.

Yeah I understand what you are saying. If it was a fair match with let's say both sides having to score 5 points to win it would clearly be Akuna's win. Although in the show they call Akune a Genius and a prodigy at Judo(nicknamed "The Prince of Judo") kind of like how Medaka is a genius and excels at everything. In order to make it fair and give him a small chance of winning(it was really small) he gave him the handicap.

Also to say Medaka was acting out of pity is going a bit over the top. This match had a big stake! If Akune won Zenkichi would be forced to leave the student council and join the judo team and if Zenkichi won Akune would have to quit going after Medaka like that. Even though Medaka didn't show any concern until she told Zenkichi not to lose, simply because she didn't want Zenkichi to leave her. So you can't really say Medaka was acting out of pity, but moreover she didn't want her dear friend to leave her side.

Yeah, I agree it showed a lot of sportsmanship between the two! I'd say it became more friendly at the end then during the match though.(Of course they had their friendly rivalry chatter to) After all they both had something at stake if they lost so they tried their hardest.(Both sought each others as rivals since junior high.) Although rivals always do make the best of friends! So yes we could definitely see the match being a simple friendly rivalry but just with more at stake!

Like I said I'm not disagreeing with you, Akune is clearly more skilled then Zenkichi and if it wasn't for the handicap it would've been Akune's win easy. I just wanted to clear up any mis-understandings some others could get from that statement though. Since according to the match rules they set up it was technically Zenkichi's win even though he was out-beaten and out-classed.(I know you still see it as Akune's win, but just wanted to make things a bit clearer)

It's easy to compliment someone that you'll never envy, but even easier to try and tear down someone who's better than you.

Just had to make a quick animated gif of Shiranui spinning in the hall. Too cute!

Yeah, Shiranui pounded that heart stopper of a burger like it was nothing.

Good episode, the adaptation again was almost identical with some fansevice add but it was ok.

Kouki vs Zenkishi was good even that Kouki kick Zenkishi ass at the end he just needed one point to win, even that if Medaka didnt tell him to win probably wouldnt get even that point still it was good.

The second part was ok,it was exactly as the manga nothing really happens besides showing the cute tomoboy girl and Kouki personality....and Shiranui being so cute eating the chips ;3

Well again was ok episode to bad that only being 13 episode we are not going to get when things get good but o well still seeing Shiranui spinning in the hall was full of WIN!!

Gotta agree with this; as for the argument that Kouki was "stronger" well.... read the manga XD; tho in fairness without even reading the manga, Zenkichi was fighting in Kouki's specialty; Unless you got OP skills like Medaka that always makes a difference.

This was pretty fun. Liked how Medaka motivated Zenkichi to win that fight, she was pretty cute in that scene. ^^

Jesus H. Christ. What a horrendous piece of shit anime I have stumbled upon. This anime refuses to let me praise it. What a boring ass episode. It was so boring I almost fell asleep through half of it! I had to rewatch it just to know WTF happened. Well guess what happened? NOTHING MUCH BRAH. For the sake of completion I will complete it. Then give out my SUPER REVIEW for this glorious piece of crap.
I'm not saying so much that it is bad. Just that it is incredibly boring. 5/10

Agreed but the Manga is really different. Medaka Box Anime is a piece of shit but Medaka Box Manga is one of the best.

Cute Medaka was so worth it watching this episode and next week finally Kikaijima, things start to get rolling. It's too bad that Medaka Box starts so slow and we only get 12 episodes, not a chance we will see the great stuff.

It's funny to see people dropping Medaka because they'll never see was this series really is about. Anyway, nice episode, I love when Nisio uses his characters to talk about effort and things like that.

Next week, Kikaijima!
