I don't really understand what happened in this chapter. What was Johnnys test supposed to do? And what was up with the guns merging? |

The test was whether Valentine would hold his word and let Johnny go or if he would shoot him if he had the chance to do so. That's why Johnny let him pick up the gun. And the guns merged because they were from different dimensions. |

Ah i forgot about things from diferent dimensions merging. But now that i remember that, i think you're wrong. Johnny said the gun didn't have any bullets. The test was to proove Valentine didn't have another gun on him because if so the empty gun would fly at it when he came near. |
