I mean, that was nice and all that they brought her back, and I know they were just staying faithful to the good end route in the visual novel, but it kinda felt like a stab in the back for anyone that cried over her death.

I loved Gundam SEED, but Kira Yamato. In his fight with Shinn in Destiny, He got stabbed near the cockpit area, which would have mean death. And even if he did live, Freedom (Kira's suit) is Nuclear powered. I don't think he'll survive a nuclear explosion. Another is in SEED, tell me how he survived Aegis blowing up practically right in front of his face . Knowledge only becomes part of you through experience.
