If you don't cry from the agony - you've failed as a human being.

Personally, I developed a brain tumour.

I'm not sure what songs make me cry, more often than not it's the situation that's happening then you have the music playing along...and then I just cry my eyes out. There's no specific ones that stand out for me at the moment, Dango did and so did Lilium but I can't really recall any others.

But it's not just tearing up, when it gets heavier around like 2:45 I'm flat out sobbing.

I've never cried watching anime neither while listening to the song in them. But this one particular song makes me kinda sad.

You are tearing me apart last song that played in School Days also known as "Kanashimi no mukuo e" sung by Itou Kanako! It always reminds me of that ending. Probably one of the saddest I saw.

I have never literally cried over any anime song or scene, but Elfen Lied's Lilium and several of Phantom's soundtracks have a very big emotional impact on me. Maybe I've spotted 1 tear...

Male 21 and I can't really name one. Not that I wouldn't find any emotional song, but it's rather the scene combined with the right soundtrack which has the biggst impact on me, not the song alone.
Clannad - Ana (One of the most beautiful and heart-warming songs I've ever heard)
Clannad - The palm of a tiny hand
Clannad - Roaring Tides II
Angel Beats - Ichiban no Takaramono (Yui final Version)

Please state your gender and age (Don't have to be exact if you're shy..... over the internet O.O ):

Male - 26

1. Planetes - Dive in the Sky by Mikio Sakai
(First couple times I listen to it full blast = manly tears everywhere)

2. 5 Centimeters Per Second - One more time, One more chance by Masayoshi Yamazaki
(Had to really feel the lyrics for this one. The scenes in anime were powerful as well. Took a while for it to sink in though)

3. Angel Beats! - Ichiban no Takaramono by Lisa
(Needed to watch the anime to get the full effect. I almost tear up though.... almost)

4. Anohana - Secret Base by Ai Kayano
(Needed to watch the scene that goes with it. I tried my best to hold back the tears but to no avail :( )

5. RAINBOW ~Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin~ - Dear Night Rainbow by Takeuchi Hiroaki
(Needed to wach the scene as well. Minimal tears were shed)

***IMPORTANT***
Get yourself a good sound card and decent headphone because youtube quality will not do justice. At least get them from gendou's anime music website and make donations.

Haven't heard the other four but Ichiban no Takaramono does it for me. Even if you haven't seen the anime, watch the vid with the English subtitles. Beautiful song. Gorgeous in every way.

I think another song that really gets to me is the ending theme from Another called anamnesis by Annabel. Just a gorgeous song in every sense of the word.

1. The Everlasting Guilty Crown - Guilty Crown OP 2

Whenever I listen to it I get chills in my back because it's such a good song and it invokes so many images of Guilty Crown in my head.

2. Euterpe - Guilty Crown special first OP

Beautiful song and whenever I listen to it, the song makes me visualize the action scene of the beginning of Guilty Crown.

3. Complication - Durarara!! OP 2

A good song and the rap part makes me go into a state of mania.

Howl's moving castle ending song...

I cried at that as well... and I do most times I watch that movie, I still have no idea why it just brings tears.

X Destiny is a song that brought some tears as well... but X was devastatingly beautiful.

I think I cried at a song from Full Moon wo Sagashite as well.

Wow I didn't realise how much I cry whilst watching anime -.-

When i watched Sailor moon i cried almost everytime, when something bad happend. Love their opening, insert and endind songs.

After few years i cried for a long time, when i was watching Lovely complex, episode 8 when Otani rejects Risa and in the end she begins to cry so much, not noticing that Otani is listening. I was so:"Omg so touching, so sad, looking at their faces ... :'("

It only makes you cry if the music is played during a touching/sad moment. Atleast in my case :P.

Though if they can make me cry without music then that would be something new.

Uminari/Roaring Tides from Clannad is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, you'll recognise the song as soon as you hear it; turns an otherwise sad scene into one full of tears.

Also, both the Opening (Aoi Shiori) and Ending (Secret Base) from AnoHana. I don't think I've found any other openings and endings that suit an anime more then those two. They really give off the perfect feel to go with it.

Also, Ichiban no Takaramono is probably the only thing I liked about Angel Beats. It was all pretty bad, but whenever I heard that song it convinced me to sit through another crap episode. It's a pretty gem hidden inside a pile of shit.

Don't know if this counts, I was very depress so I turn on a random song to distract myself, and this song played, the lyrics hit me like a train and I cried uncontrollably for the length of the song. It's just a very coincidence combination of timing and my state of mind.

The only time I ever cried to a song though, so I guess it counts.
