Keito awoke in a sweat. Once again, his sleep had been interrupted by a nightmare. A nightmare that he had long ago repressed. Every night it's the same, every night he dreams of his parents death that had happened long ago. He cursed his memory for recalling such horrors. But, he had to get up and get ready for school.

He was excited this year, they were giving out newer dragon breeds and eggs, and this year, as always, he would be the top of his class.

He looked in the mirror at his scraggely face. He shaved off the stubble and brushed his hair and teeth before deciding that he looked presentable. He then left for school.

"meeeeeeehghawr"
Zanza gave a long stretch and looked up through the openings of a large tree towards the now beaming sun. he gave a little nudge and out of the tree he came landing to the ground below. turning down his music that had been blaring through his headphones all night he began stretching his neck, arms, legs, and back. once he was done came the beginning of yet another day.

"hope the hunt is a good one today"

On her journey, she was in her favourite village,Foralia, again.. At first, she was travelling to find her family but lately she was doing this for enjoyment.. She was walking while thinking this, she heard an old woman's voice behind her: 'Is that you, Lynn?' She looked to woman's face and she said 'Good morning, Mrs.Ackrill!' with a big smile..Mrs.Ackrill smiled her too and 'Good morning to you too..It's been a long time..'she said..'How is your son?' Lynn asked..'Thanks to you and your potions he recovered quickly and he is doing great now.We're owe you so much.. And.. Before you leave take this strawberries, i picked them this morning!' she said and gave her them.. 'I'm happy to hear that and thank you so much for the strawberries! These are my favourite!' Lynn said and continued her way..

She was really happy..When she opened her mouth to eat the first strawberry someone bumped into her..And she dropped her strawberry.. She looked down and saw a little boy about to cry... She smiled, patted his head and she said 'You should be more careful..' Then she gave him one of her strawberries... His eyes shone with happiness and thanked to her.. Then she realized a group of children was looking at them and the strawberries that she was holding... She went near the other children and gave all of her strawberries to them... And continued to walking..Even though she really loved strawberries, she was happy to did something good..

After walking about an hour she arrived at a huge meadow.. There was no one except her.. She rested a bit then she picked herbs for her potions, climbed trees, played with birds and ran until she got tired.. And she went to her secret place.. She found this place when she first came to Foralia... There was surrounded by long trees so it was hard to find.. She passed through the familiar trees and arrived there... Looking at the lake, listening the birds and being there was relaxing her... When she got there, the sun was setting.. She watched the sunset and then the moon and stars... While she was listening the song of crickets she fell asleep under a tree..

Zanza hopped from tree to tree making his way back to town. having been out so far all night he had forgotten he had hunting duties today. coming from the trees he finally got to the trail leading back to the village. casually he began walking back now on the right track. as he went foward a group of kids ran by him laughing and playing as one bumped into him.

"ooph, kiko watch where ur playing, ur gonna get urself hurt"
Kiko:"ah sorry Zanza, look what we got" the child exclaimed showing a handful of strawberries.
"where did u get those?" Zanza asked crouching down beside him
Kiko: "some nice lady gave them to us"
"sooo your eating strawberries given to u from some stranger?"
Kiko: "yup, try one"

Kiko shoved a strawberry in his mouth and ran off after the other kids leaving Zanza back to himself

"those kids are one big pain in the butt... this is a really good strawberry"

She was holding hands with a woman and a man..They were walking..She was really happy..And she asked to faceless man:
"Where are going, dad?"
"Somewhere fun! You'll see when we get there.." he replied...
After a while they came entrance of a dark forest..
"Lynn, go and play.. This forest is really huge.." said faceless woman..
"No! I want to go with mom and dad! And it looks really scary.."
But when she turned back there was no one.. And she found herself in the forest... She started to cry and call her mom.. Then she saw a light...
The sunlight woke her up. Lately, she started to see dreams about her family, but she never got sad from something like this...When she went to near the lake to wash her face, her foot slipped and she fell in to the lake.. Sun could dry her but she didn't want to wait with wet clothes.. Mrs.Ackrill could her dry clothes.. She decided to go there...

When she arrived town, she saw a little girl was crying.. Lynn wanted to help her and she asked:
"Hi.. Why are you crying? "
"Go away.." The little girl was looking cute but she was mean..
"I want to help you.. If you tell me why you are crying..."
"I said, go away! I don't talk to strangers!" she shouted and pushed Lynn.. Lynn fell into a puddle this time..Her clothes were about to dry, but now they were covered in mud.. She thought that she had to went to Mrs.Ackrill.. But she didn't want to left her alone.. Then she decided to change her clothes quickly and come again..

She was feeling better in her new clothes.. When she went back, she couldn't find the little girl.. Then she saw the children was playing.. She noticed they were the ones from yesterday.. She asked them if they saw her..
"We've just started to playing.. When we came here, there was nobody.." said one of them..
"I don't know if she was the girl that you're searching but this morning i heard from mom that Edra lost her rabbit.. She loves her rabbit so much.." said the boy who was bumped into her...
" You're the one from yesterday.." Lynn smiled.. "Thank you so much!!"
"Edra was crying?? Is she lost??" Asked a little girl..
"No, she was just...."
"I can't found Edra anywhere!" A woman came while shouting.. And the woman surrounded by a little crowd and they started to asking questions.. Lynn went near them, told what she saw and suggested to search her together.. Then everyone went different directions to search her and the lost rabbit.... Even though Lynn really loves Foralia, she didn't know so much about there.. She decided to start from the places she knows best..

Zanza knocked over another demon as it fell to the ground in a heap.
He crouched beside it putting a piece of paper to its face

"Xenot, lvl 3 lesser demon. Bounty 200 gold. Man that won't even pay for a meal of ramen for a week"

He picked up the demon and began walking back to the town as he saw a commotion of people running every which way. He shrugged not thinking much of it but just as he was about to step he noticed a bunny. It was white with black spots and stared up at him. He looked down at it and gave it a little nudge with his foot. The rabbit refused to move and stared at him. He gave a sigh and walked around it then noticed after a few steps it was following him.

"Look here mr. Bunny, I can't take u home u have to go back"
But the bunny kept Following him. Frustrated now he burst out in speed leaving the bunny behind and came to a stop just before the town.
"That should do it... hm?"
He looked down to see a kid looking under a rock.

"Uhhhh olaying hide and go seek?"

"No were looking for edra, she lost her bunny and ran away to go find it"

"Bunny?... Ah man"

The sun had set long ago.. She's been searching for Edra and her bunny since morning but she hasn't found none of them yet.. When she looked her around, she noticed that she didn't know where she was..It was too dark to come back..So she continued to walk.It was raining and she was trying to walk carefully..Suddenly, she heard something like a scream..She was scared but she wanted to think that it was from a bird.. Then she heard a familiar cry..There was no way she forgot her voice..She followed the sound and she found Edra in a deep pit..Villagers set traps to catch rare and magical creatures in the dark forests..When Edra saw her, she started to cry more loudly..
"Why are you here?? I want mummy!!"
"I've come to save you..Try to catch my hand..And then we'll search for your bunny together.."
"It's not bunny! His name is Mr.Giro!"
"Okay, take my hand and let's find Mr.Giro!"
"I don't take hands of the strangers!" said Edra and started to throw rocks at her..Lynn's clumsiness was really helpful in times like these..Her foot slipped and she fell near Edra..
"I don't want- " Edra couldn't complete her sentence..She started to cry again and hold her knee..
"Show your knee.. I can help you.." Lynn had herbs from yesterday.. She could make something to heal her wound..
"No! I don't- Let me go!!!" But Lynn wasn't listening Edra..
"If i don't heal it, it'll be worse later..Stop being stubborn.. If you calm down now, i'll do everything you want.."
For the first time Edra listened her and watched her quietly..Lynn finished her work and sat near Edra..
"It's raining and dark now, so we can't go back..Let's wait until morning and then i'll take you to your mum and find your bun-- Mr.Giro, Edra.." Lynn said with a warm smile..But she didn't know how to come back.. She was hoping that someone'll find them..
"How do you know my name??" Edra asked..
"Your friends said it.. Everyone from the village searching for you and your bunny.."
"It's not bunny.. His n--" Edra had fallen asleep..Lynn, put Edra's head on her lap and started to wait morning...

Having walked around the area he found the bunny several times, zanza continued his search through the evening. He avoided detection and main roads knowing he was in lesser demon territory and hoping not to start any trouble while on his search. The rain began coming down heavily as he went back and forth and finally collasped near an open forest area.

"God this bunny could be anywhere. And its not like I'm a werewolf so I could track him down. I mean what noise does a bunny make anyway?"

He heard a sharp snatch as leaves rustled and he jolted up. To his left a net was raised into one of the trees. He got closer and realized it was the bunny! It had gotten trapped in a net trap set up by hunters. Thinking he finally found the bunny zanza went to collect his prize but as he got close collasped into a pit.

He sat up rubbing his back as he looked at the bunny dangling above him. Then he noticed two other girls in the pit... sleeping. Then he noticed one of the girls was edra. Zanza was about to call out but instead decided to let them sleep and wait till daybreak. Not much they can so anyway.

She was seeing the same dream about her family..They came entrance of a dark forest again..
"Lynn, go and play.. The fores--- Zanza!" And now, the faceless woman was shouting 'Zanza!'.. Then her voice started to change slowly..When Lynn opened her eyes, she saw Edra shouting and smiling happily.. At first she couldn't understand what was happening and 'Can she smile like this?' she thought..Then she turned her back and saw someone outside of the pit..She thought she had to thank him, so she stood up and tried to tidy herself up..
"Thank you so mu--"
"Mr.Giro!!!!" she couldn't complete her sentence again... But when she looked up, she saw the bunny, in a net, above stranger's head..She didn't want it to get lost again, so she started to climbing up...She was about to coming out of the pit, she looked at the bunny and saw it got rid of net... Suddenly it hopped over Lynn's head into Edra's arms.. Lynn's foot slipped and she fell down again.. She stood up again and looked at his face carefully, she just wanted to see the face of the person who could make Edra that happy..
"Thank you so much for finding us!"

Zanza stood still for a moment and looked at lynn's face a bit more carefully.
"I haven't seen u around. U must be new..."

He reached down and helped her up still looking at her a bit harder. He finally broke eye contact and looked up at edra.

"Edra u shouldn't run off by yourself. I've told u and the other children that this is lesser demon territory. What if they had found u?"

He hopped up the rocks and out of the pit then dusted her off. Edra held her head down and held onto her bunny. Zanza turned back to the pit and looked at lynn once again.

"So... who's your friend edra? She seems nice."

Holds his hand out at her

Lynn watched him while he was helping Edra..She couldn't believe the girl who was standing outside of the pit quietly was Edra.. Then she noticed that he was looking at her..She didn't know what she should say so she just smiled friendly..She thought that he wasn't someone bad..Also Edra and him knew each other..
"So... who's your friend edra? She seems nice." he said and helped her to get out of the pit..Lynn was hearing Edra was shouting..
"She isn't my friend!! I don't even know who she is!! She is just following me and saying that she'll help me.. But she healed my wound and i should thank-- But she isn't my friend! I don't like her because--- Because she isn't my friend!"
'And the Edra i know is back..' Lynn thought..But she noticed that there was something that Edra didn't want say.. She decided to ask her about it later and she turned to him..
"Thank you so much again for saving us! My name is Lynn and i'm travelling around Kirish.. And i think you're Zanza, right?" she said.. She was thinking that he was kind and nice and she was wanting to get along with him..
Then they started to walk to the town.. She was feeling like someone or something was following them, but she didn't want to think about it too much.. Her instincts were usually wrong..

Zanza nodded and chuckled a little.

"i didnt really save u though, i kinda was chasin the bunny and fell in with u guys. then i just decided to wait till day."

the three of them walked along the road back to town with edra petting her bunny mr. giro and smiling and giggling. Zanza walked a few feet behind them with his hands in his pocket. He leaned down and covered Edra's ear with his hand whispering something in her ear.

Edra: "but... i guess so"
Edra looked away obviously annoyed as zanza turned back to lynn

"so miss lynn.. where do you come from and what brings you to our quaint little village?"

"I'm travelling all around Kirish..I really love Foralia, especially your village.. Sometimes i go Foralia to pick herbs or just to relax.. Also i love people of your village..They are really kind and friendly.. Yesterday i came to want something from Mrs.Ackrill and i saw Edra was crying.. I wanted to help her but i think she doesn't love me for some reason.. Right, Edra??"
Lynn looked at the little girl who was trying to hide behind him..
"I don't have a reason!" Edra shouted while looking her pet.. Then they heard a noise coming from Edra..
"I'm not hungry!" Edra said with a noise stronger than before..
"I know some fruit trees near here.. If you want i can get some.." Lynn said..
"I don-- But.. Do i have to wait so long??"
"No.. You can see them from here.. Wait for me here with him.. I'll be back in 5 minutes.." She said and started to walk on the narrow path.. The bushes were making walking harder.. And finally she arrived there.. She climbed a tree and saw Edra and him..She smiled and started to wave her hands to them.. Then she fell again..

He watched as lynn walked away and he turned to edra.

"U always have a hard time making friends cuz u act like that"
"Your my friend aren't u?"
"Yes but u remember what I had to go through fr u to accept me? U can't be like that to everyone"
"But she's a stranger"
"Yes that is true but she seems kind doesn't she?"

At that time they saw lynn in a tree some ways off... then she fell. Zanza sighed and patted edra on the head.

"Stay here with mr. Giro"

Then he went off after her through the bushes arriving at the tree where she lay on the ground. He picked up a fruit next to her and took a bite.

"... juicy" he said holding out his hand to her

"They are!" Lynn said with a smile while she was still lying on the ground... Then she stood up and started to climb..
"They grow only in Foralia..I love them so much.. Especially the ones on the top are really delicious!"

She came down from the tree without falling..And they started to walk..
"I hope Edra loves these! She doesn't have to like me but i don't understand why she is behaving like this.. I wonder if i did something wrong to her.."
They saw Edra petting her bunny under a tree.. She didn't notice that they've returned..
"Here' s your fruits Edra!! If you want more just tell me.. You can give some to Mr.Giro..I'm sure he'll like it!" And she gave Edra two fruits..
"Mr. Giro doesn--" Edra started to say something but she didn't complete her sentence..Lynn turned to him..
"You also can eat as much as you want!" she said..Then she heard Edra murmured something..
"Thank...you..."
Lynn smiled and decided to preted she heard nothing..

zanza watched the two girls as he bit into his fruit looking at both of them. Then he looked at the tree edra was under and began walking around it.

"Miss lynn do u come here often to get fruit?" He asked scratching on the bark of the tree.
"Either way we shouldn't stay here for too long, we still got a few miles ahead of us"

He took another bite of fruit and stood beside lynn chewing. He was calm but seemed a little edgy.

"Not very often.. I know other places in Foralia to get this.. I don't like this road so much.."
"I want one more fruit!! ..Not for me! For Mr.Giro! We-- He wants to eat more!" Edra shouted without looking at them.. Lynn gave her two again..
"If Mr.Giro loved them that much then you should give him more than one.. I'm not giving them to you.. These are for Mr.Giro.. Because you didn't like them!"
"I didn't say i didn't l-- ...I don't want your fruits!" Edra said and bit one of the fruits angrily..Lynn smiled and continued to talk with him..
"I know..And the villagers must be still searching for her.. I can't understand how she could went that far" She looked at Edra..
"She can eat last one while walking.." she said and stood up.. Then they started to walk.. The road was really silent.. So she decided to break the silence..
"What about you?? I don't know anything about you except your name!"

"U never asked" he answered looking around silently eating his fruit
"Im-"
"He's big brother zanza!" Edra cried out cutting him off
"I'm not anyones brother edra"
He bit the fruit again and turned to lynn.
"I'm employed here in foralia. I lived here with my dad when I was small then when I could I moved out and became employed as a demon hunter, pretty much a bodygaurd for the village. Foralia is big but our village is quite small and defenseless"
Zanza finished the fruit and came to a stop. They were in a dense forest and only birds chirped.
"This is lesser demon territory and many traps have been layed to catch little girls and their bunnies that have wandered off" he said obviously talking to edra who just looked away from his gaze.
"Either way we have to be very cautious"

"I came here three or four times and everytime i came, i'm feeling bad.. I heard something about it, but i've never met one.."
"If something bad happens, big brother Zanza will save me!!" Edra shouted and hugged his arm..
"I'm sure he will since this is something that he always does.." Lynn said and tried to smile at Edra..
She didn't know what she was saying..Actually she was scared.. But she was trying to act normal.. She noticed her hands were shaking..
"Calm down!" she thought.. "I'm travelling for a long time and i never scared... Also, i'm not alone right now.. I don't think something bad will happen.."
She looked at Zanza and Edra.. She saw Edra was looking at her.. She smiled without looking at the road.. Edra's face chanced suddenly..
"You'll--"
And Lynn hit a tree...But she was calmed down a bit..
