Favorite Angel?
| What Angel did you find was the absolute coolest? And why? I think Kaworu will probably be the winner! :3 (I left out ADAM and Lilith because they don't really do anything, but if they are your favorites, just say so in a post!) |

| Kaworu. Not just my favorite Angel but also my #2 favorite character in Evangelion. Too bad he doesn't get enough screen time. But besides Kaworu (to make this more interesting), I'd say my favorite Angel is...hmmm...either Bardiel or Gaghiel. I thought they were pretty impressive. Matariel was interesting too. |

| Yeah, Kaworu was pretty awesome. Easily one of my favorite characters ever. I voted for Zeruel, though. Zeruel was awesome, and was the only Angel (aside from Kaworu) to break into the Geo Front. Matarael was great too - I loved that episode where Asuka, Shinji and Rei were trying to get around NERV where there was no electricity :D |

| Ahh, so hard to pick. Among the Angels, Sachiel has the most iconic appearance/mask, Leliel had the most unusual physical properties, Zeruel was awesome for its power and for forcing 01 to go berserk, Armisael was almost unstoppable, and Tabris was the most interesting as a character. However, my vote goes to Ramiel, the floating fortress. It's positron beam attack was pretty sick and the battle plan used to defeat it was undoubtedly the most complicated used against the Angels. It was also after this battle that Shinji and Rei started warming up to each other. |
| It was a tough choice but I went with Iruel. I almost decided on Leliel but flipped a mental coin, and Iruel won. |
| Was a harder choice than I thought. Considered Kaworu but since he had more time and could interact and so on it felt like an unfair advantage somehow. I ended up going with Leliel. Something about that one just felt in some way even more interesting in some of the others in it's ability though kind of hard to explain just why I feel that way... |

Yeah, that's exactly my reasoning for not picking Kaworu either. He is 'technically' my favorite Angel, but he isn't really an Angel in the sense the others were. Heh, every single person that's voted so far has picked a different Angel! |
| Tabris. It's been a while since I watched the series, but from what I remember his death triggered Shinji's breakdown and all that, didn't it? Besides that, he was just an awesome character. Haha, not to mention I remember being totally shocked by him being an angel and then the way he died.. XD |

| Sachiel. One of the better looking Angels and probably the best fight in the series imo. Plus it take a direct hit off a H bomb and still keeps going. |

| Zeruel! The first angel to enter the Nerv HQ and probably the strongest angel! I like the fact that he destroyed EVA 02 and survived the direct hit of a N²-attack by Rei! Finally he was the one from whom 01 get its S²-System from after going wild ;) |

| I was going with Sachiel because his fight is so cool (can you truly say that his fight wasn't the reason you really started watching Eva in the first place? XD) but I went with Ramiel after all. He's just so nonsense... I mean, a glass-like octahedron with a giant drill that shoots positrons... wow x.X |

| I was torn between Ramiel and Tabris. I thought Ramiel was the most interesting angel because he was one of the strangest and coolest looking. In the end, however, I voted for Tabris because of his importance and his defined personality. |
| Arael was my favourite angel. Its the only angel we dont get a proper look at and i think it looks cool with the glowing wings and stuff (and i admit im slightly swayed by the chromosome XX figurine of Arael!) |

| Hmm, not sure putting Tabris there was a good idea; he's walking away with this competition. It's weird that Ramiel is coming second though. I loved the two episodes that centred around that Angel! :) |

Although the battle against Zeruel and a few others were pretty cool too, Ramiel's probably required the most amount of preparation (for all of NERV) within a limited amount of time. Watching them pull all of those strings and setting up the stage for the stage as the clock counts down really built up the tension nicely. That Rei and Shinji became more open to each other afterwards was a nifty bonus too. XD |

| Not taking Tabris; he's too obvious an choice. I like him for his humanity (or idealized-humanity, considering he's a great contrast to how actual humans are portrayed); as an actual Angel and monster-of-the-week he was more tragic, in the archaic meaning, than kickass. Instead, I'll go for Leliel, because there's where the pseudoscientific technobabble really shine, and it's a wonderfully brutal-yet-elegant style of fighting. Plus it looks so wonderfully bizarre, and doesn't really make sense. |

Same here, the fight between Asuka and Arael is so heart-rending. And he is the first Angel who tries to understand human's heart. You forgot Armisael by the way, no more space left? |

| Tabris. Because...well... he appeared for only 15 minutes in the entire series, but his death was so very sad :'( But I liked Arael and Israfael too. The fight with israfael was definitely one of the most amazing ones because you could say he was killed by dancing :3 |

| I say that Kaworu is the best by far,and I think everyone will agree with me here......well most of you's, but I definitely love Sachiel. I find he has such cute quirks about him--almost human-like....plus he looks extra cute in chibi form. |

| Went with Ramiel but I'd rate Leriel second. Leriel had a very strange but awesome concept which I loved but Ramiel is just so awesome and the EVA's attack plan was cool too ;). |

| Tough call. Sahaquiel, Iruel, and Arael were awesome, but I'm going to have to vote for Leliel. I just sort of have a thing for things that distort things, especially when those things distorted are space, perception, reality, and/or gravity. Liliel satisfies half of those. But still, dropping yourself from orbit? Cool. A rapidly evolving, infectious, living circuit board? Awesome. Overloading your targets brain? Epic. |

| I went for Ramiel just because of the upgrade it got in 1.0. However, if we're going by how the angels appear in the series I would probably go for Leliel or Zeruel. Sahaquiel is amazing as well, especially in 2.0 |
