I'm not sure if Gokudera counts, sice the Storm and Thunder are like brothers, and sometimes he and Lambo kind of have that relationship. Then there is TYL Fuuta and Ganma... Ikuto(SC): He deals with his incestous, tsundere sister. He's a REALLY good bro Otonashi(AB): He had such a beautiful relationship with his sister. |

| My favorite big brother and the reason, eh? Well then, here's my top 3~! |

| Shagia Frost from After War Gundam X is my top favorite. The relationship the Frost brothers have is so complex and deep, and intriguing how they can communicate with each other via telepathy - they have a close bond on so many levels. And it's sweet how passionately Shagia protects Olba (who idolizes him) even to the point he'd sacrifice himself. They're great antagonists! My second pick would be Chic from Maze: Bakunetsu Jikuu because he's so similar to Shagia (including the heavy aloof temperment, wickedly sad self-righteousness, and seiyuu Toshiyuki Morikawa). His younger brother Gorgeous isn't as dependent on Chic as Olba is to Shagia, but it's clear that everything Chic does is for the well-being of Gorgeous and their future. Their childhood flashback proves that, as does Chic's wrath and desire to avenge. Plus in the Maze novels, he gives waaaay of himself to save Gorgeous from abuse. I guess my third fave would go to yet another Toshiyuki Morikawa Niisan, Naoto Kirihara from Night Head Genesis. And for all the same reasons as the two above, the only difference is Naoto is a protagonist instead of a badguy. I'm predictable, aren't I? (LOL) |

That's easy: #3 - Haruka Kasugano (Yosuga no Sora) - It's not easy looking after his twin sister Sora after their parents died... #2 - Jun'ichi Asakura (Da Capo) - Not only is he a kind and caring brother to her adopted imouto Nemu; his kindness has earned him the affection of quite a bevy within Kazami HS... #1 - Wataru Minakami (Sister Princess) - Sure, discovering that he suddenly has 12 younger sisters was a big surprise for him, meaning that his usually quiet (and bland) life alone would be no more. In spite of that, he has become the ideal big brother to the dozen, and has lived a blessed and happier life ever since! |

| There are so many, but I think that Ishida Yamato from Digimon Adventure is my favourite. Now that I think about it, he would have been the first 'onii-san' I saw, all those years ago. So nostalgia might have a lot to do with my choice. But I still think that he's a great big brother. He likes to be the cool guy, but he'd do anything, even cry, for his little brother. There a lot of brothers like that, but I guess Yamato sticks out the most because he was the first for me. Runner-up would be Uchiha Itachi. I gave up on Naruto at around episode 100, but I followed Itachi's story because he's so cool. The fact that he's also a good brother is an added bonus to an awesome character. |
