"Sorry, no. I don't drink soda, so we don't have..."

His reply was cut off as the male member of the group wrestled the girl around until he got the chance to knock her out. This amused him greatly, unable to hold back his laughs.

Indeed, Kaizen did notice the two Quincy crosses the male wore around his wrists. An unusual sight, to say the least. Though, considering things, it shouldn't come to much of a surprise. Everyone is an individual after all. He switched hands so his left would be holding the wine glass up, an elbow resting on the arm rest of his chair. That very hand had a white glove with a unique star design on the back.

An expensive looking bracelet hung from his wrist as well, with a double pentacle, one upside down and the other right side up. Both of them together looked like a ten-sided star.

"Ah, my apologies, how rude of me. My name is Kaizen Romanovich Fujikata. Welcome to my little summer home." Kaizen leaned forward a little and bowed his head respectfully. "I must say, it is quite a surprise to come across not just one, but three other Quincy. Granted, your companions don't seem to be much compared to you..."

He took a sip of his wine, leaning back and relaxing in his chair. It was quite clear that this man came from a lot of money, being brought up by a rich family and taught how to be a proper and respectful gentleman. He lived quite comfortably, especially considering that this place was only his summer home.

"My story? Well, there's really not much to tell. I'm a Quincy... and that's pretty much it. College educated, running a business, and not particularly interested in getting involved with the affairs of other Quincy, Shinigami, Hollows, etc..."

A small smile remained on his lips the entire time he spoke.

"How about you sir? Do you have a story of your own to share?"

"Me? Well it's really not that interesting to be honest Kaizen but I guess its only proper since I am your guest and." he said in a modest tones as he brushed his light blonde hair out of his face and took another sip of Kaizens wine.

He then cleared his throat and said. " I grew up in Seattle to an average family. Well I thought we were normal until I was about 12.... My family was attacked by hallows that killed my parents and made an attempt at my life. Lucky for me there just happened to be a Quincy passing through and he saved me. I then trained with him and his father as I apparently had come from Quincy lineage. I doubt my parents knew any of this and it would explain my unusually high spirit power. It took me awhile to get the basics and become able, to be honest it took me 2 years to be able to grasp the Hirenkyaku. Now my mentor is the new leader of the Quincy with the passing of his father and I have been going across the U.S to gather any hopefuls to train in the ways of the Quincy. It would appear Hueco Mundo is plotting something and Alain want us to be ready for it. " he said in a calm tone as he took another sip of wine and glanced Kaizens glove. It was quite obvious he was no ordinary Quincy as what he wore resembled a Sanrei Glove.

Could he know the Volstag? I only know a handful of Quincy that can use such technique and there spiritual power is on an incredible level could he be?? I mean his power was on the level of Alains soo it is possible I suppose. he pondered to himself as he awaited Kaizens response.

Kaizen nodded his head as the other man explained his own story. He had heard that some group of Quincy were stirring around, but hadn't been interested enough to do a little investigating. Although, he was very slightly intrigued to hear that something was going on in Hueco Mundo.

"I see. Can't say I've had as much of a hard life as you. I've had a pretty comfortable life actually, as you may tell." The Quincy motioned towards the mansion and pool. A slight smirk came across his lips before he took another sip of his wine.

"Well then," he started after finishing his sip, leaving less than half of his glass full. "What is all this going on with Hueco Mundo? Do you have any information on what they're planning... who's planning it... what others besides the Quincy are doing to prepare for it... anything at all?"

Honestly, it wasn't much of a surprise to hear. About Hueco Mundo stirring up a commotion, that is. This was part of the natural order, after all. Shinigami kill Hollows, Hollows plot to destroy the Shinigami, and the world keeps on turning. But if it gets big enough... big to the point that even Quincy will want to get involved, then it may be in his best interest to pay attention.

"To be honest the charmed life you really isn't for me, I much rather prefer the simple things in life and traveling around to be honest. Well I will agree with you that it has been rough but I'm lucky that they came across me when they did or else I might not be alive today." he said in a modest tone as he took another sip of wine. He then calmly set the glass on the table and looked out over onto the pool for a a few seconds watching moonlight glisten off the water. He was in deep thought on whether he should divulge such information to a man he just met. Granted he was a Quincy but there is no telling if he might be in league with the F-LAWS. In the end Rufus figured that they needed all the help they could get and figured that even if this Quincy didn't join them he still may help protect the people in his area and prevent a senseless slaughter. He then slowly turned to face Kaizen giving him his full intention and calmly began to speak

"Well I have yet to really tell the other two this to be honest as I don't want to start a panic among them. Both of them are new to this cruel world and I want to ease them into it before I divulge such things. The reason I am telling you this is because you are a Quincy and wouldn't want you to get caught off guard." He then paused for a few seconds as he poured himself another glass of wine.

He took a sip and began to address his host. "Well you see the new leader of the Quincy is Alain DesloriƩ and he is very liberal compared to the previous other leaders. He desires peace more then anything and seeks coexistence. Well enough about that.. You see the influx of hallows into the human world has increased dramatically. Such a thing had happened before and it was before Aizen attacked the human world. Well Alain figured he would ally with the fullbrings or the F-LAWS. It was more precautionary then anything but he figured that it would be a step in the right direction of establishing closer ties as we are all humans as he said it. Not only did Hakushi deny but he had an envoy from Hueco Mundo appear in front of Alain and announced his alliance with
the Arancars. Hakushi only cared about the preservation of his people and saw it as a convenient way to eliminate the regular humans and the Quincy. Now it appears to be us vs the full-brings and the arancars." he said in a disheartened tone as he appeared to not be confident in there ability to win this war. He took another sip of wine and awaited his hosts response.

Kaizen listened intently as the man explained the situation going on between all the spiritual beings. His head nodded, taking a sip of his wine.

"I see, I see..."

It was certainly interesting to hear about the growing activity past the world the humans could see. Quincy vs Fullbiringers and Arrancars... that could actually spell strong trouble for the Quincy.

However... Kaizen wasn't interested enough. Sure, he too was a Quincy, but he lived separate from the rest. Not caring what trouble another spiritual being caused for them. So there was no desperate desire to aid his fellow Quincy. No sense of honor that called for him to join the action, even if his involvement could help things out.

"Let me guess... you want to recruit me, don't you?"

It wasn't hard to figure that out. They come across a strong Quincy by sheer luck, one who helps them and obviously has had a lot of training, considering how far away those Hollows were and how easily he destroyed them, so it was obvious that this man would jump at the chance to recruit Kaizen into their ranks.

"I have to say... even after hearing your story, hearing about the threat that you're facing, I still don't have an interest in joining you. Why should I get involved in all this when I have a perfectly comfortable lifestyle right now?"

"Well to be honest we were just passing through to the next city as I had a little run in with the law when I rescued Lisa. Her house was destroyed by the hallow and she lost her mother in the attack. It is rather sketchy to see a van parked near the house with Washington licenses plates. They then questioned me and were about to let me go until they saw Lisa in the back of my van.. They immediately jumped to conclusions and thought I had something to do with her mothers death. They asked me to come down to the police station for questioning and I can't exactly tell them monsters called hallows were the ones that did these things. They what have strapped a white jacket on me and hauled me off to the nearest mental asylum.. Soo I did the next best thing! I knocked them out put them in there car and made it appear that they were sleeping on the job. I then figured I would head up north and train those two in the way of the Quincy." he replied in a calm tone as he put one hand behind his head.

He then put his hand down as he reached for the glass of of whine and took a sip. He mused on what Kaizen had said about not joining based on how it wouldn't interfere with his cushy lifestyle and was in a bit of a disbelief that this man would put material things over innocent lives. I guess some people value material things over everything else... I can't let my distaste be known though. It is best to stay cordial and avoid any conflict as this man has helped us out quite a bit. I wont let something like this ruin the atmosphere. he thought to himself as he sat his glass down and prepared a response.

"Well Kaizen there is an army of hallow coming and now that they are in league with the full bring, I think it's safe to say your comfortable lifestyle is in jeopardy. You know hallows quite well I'm sure and know that they are creatures of destruction. If they win the wold as we know it will be gone.." he said with a sigh as he picked up his glass to take another sip.

A warm smile crept across his face as he sat the empty glass down on the table to his right. "Well enough about that.. All this talk of war is giving headache.. Or maybe it is the wine, I am a bit of light weight." he said light heartedly as he tried to get off the topic. He figured he would bring something else up like Jini condition as he was quite worried about the girl and he disliked talking about the war.

"So how is my friend Jini is she going to be okay?" he asked as he attempted to change the subject
