Chapter 1: The Girl Called "Kana"

The light of the cameras stung her eyes, the noise of the bothersome reporters filling her ears with a storm of unrecognizable babble, reminding her of vultures arguing around a corpse. “Make way!” Roared one of her bodyguards, the black suited bullies pushing away the hordes of journalists and rabid fans. “What is your mothers stance on the developing war in-“ managed a journalist to inject before being thrown away by another “Will you be attending the ne-“ that was quickly replaced by yet another “Have your father considered running in the elections this yea-“

Her name was Kaname Mistueri-Rin.
Maiden name Rin.
Nick name "Kana-chan" or just "kana".

She was 19 years old, the second oldest child in a family of six. Her fathers name was Hakushi Mistueri, one of the richest and influencal men in the world, CEO of Raven Corp, her mothers name was Chiaki Rin, a engima of a woman that had somehow managed to become just as famous as her father. She was without exception too however, due to her familys status she was too "enjoying" celebrity status, it did not exactly help that she was a talented vocalist, having released an album earlier in the year for fun, she had somehow earned even more personal fame.. She had even been forced into some part time modeling by her big brother earlier in the year and due to pressure from fans she had somehow ended up attending a few competitions and she had never heard the end of it since.

Forcing her way past her own bodyguards she broke ahead of them and start rushing up the white marble stairs that lead up to the entrance of a great tower which gleaming white walls were-decorated by several great waterfalls that covered the side of the buildings main entrance, the water sparkling brightly in the warm sunlight. The tower was the tallest structure in the city and had been declared the most beautiful and futuristic building in the country. As she reached the end of the stairs she promptly did a full 90 degree turn as she shot her right hand into the air, giving a wide wave to the masses below while simultaneously flashing her signature smile, she remembered to close her eyes as always, otherwise the cameras would have made short work of her sight. Her action was replied with an increased roar of voices, though she could hardly hear what was being shouted, she knew it was positive, mostly.

Above the Entrance a giant sign written with huge white and black letters it stood “Raven Corp HQ”
Quickly turning back around she ran through the entrance, once inside she let a frown and a sigh out in a big heave. She didn’t really dislike the attention, but the constant nature of her family’s fame was sometimes a bit too much, her father had just made a huge deal that would see new economical flow through the city, which of course ment a week of increasing media pressure, and her brothers flamboyant behavior was not improving the situation ether, sighing again as she looked over to the counter where the receptionist had just spotted her.

“Welcome back Kana, your father is expecting you” Said the receptionist with a warm smile at the end of the sentence.

Of course he was, he had been the one who had summoned her back, the memory of that particularly angry phone-call caused her to cringe to the very core of her being, if anything her father was the one man she never wanted to make angry, unfortunantly she was particularly talented at it, and knowing that did’t help ether. Sure, I am just going to-

“He wants to see you, right away young miss.”
Announced the receptionist with a not so warm smile, pointing towards the private elevator.
“Private Floor”.

She felt a tad baffled, that was not where he would expect his father to be, not today, though she did not linger on it for too long, her father was everything but predictable. Not wanting to spend more time worrying about the future scolding she was sure was waiting for her at the end of her journey she rushed over to the elevator, somewhere far behind her a particularly agile reporter had managed to rush at the doors and managed to take one photo of the insides before being almost strangled by security, having stopped at the elevator to see what had gone down she managed to notice a new group of people entering from another more large and offical elevator at far side of the room opposing where she was standing. Out of the elevator came a couple of bodyguards, then two buisness men currently in some deep discussion, right behind them came her elder brother. He was tall and handsome, she never refused that fact, he had his fathers feminime yet rigidly structured face and her mothers diamond blue eyes, he had been awareded model of the year three years in a row, he was outrageously good looking and he knew it! He held himself with the most utmost confidence as if he was a god walking amonst lesser men, she hated that about him, that haughty nature like he was belittling everyone around him.

He was busy talking to a young girl, that girl was her little sister, much more like her older brother she was also quite a media-whore, she always tried to mimick her older brother in any way possible, kana deeply wished for her to stop but then again she probably couldt blame her, beside her own dislike of her brothers beheaviour he was making a postive impact on the family firm and father had recently made him the face and spoke-person of raven-corp just for that reason, as she thought of that her sister noticed her and promptly flashed rude expression as she threw out her tongue, they were not on the best of terms latly. Her big brother noticed the behevior and turned slightly to look at her while still continuing his haughty march towards the exit where he was probably intending to address the gathering outside. He gave her a stern expression, there was a smile there but it was more of a judgemental one "There you go again, why don't you ever learn? I am dissapointed." kind of thing that only big brothers can do, she was tempted to call him out on it but she was interupted by the loud "Ding" as the elevator opened up before her.

Trying to shake off her own annoyance at her younger sister and her overly arrogant brother she rushed into the elevator and smacked her head into the mirrored walls, it hurt but she did't care, there was little that made her more bad than her siblings, she was childish like that, she knew, but she could hardly help it. She contiuned to have her face locked with the mirror as a laser scaner started to go over her body, recognising her identity.

"Welcome Miss Kaname, please confirm the desir-"

"Take me to my father.." she promplty said, interupting the semi-artifical AI.
The elevator started grinding for a moment then started to fall as she was quickly taken underground. The mirrored windows cleared and enabled her to see into the enormous underground complex that made up the F-Law Headquarters, laying right beneath Raven-Co HQ, the secret police of the fullbring resided just beneath its benefactor. She always liked coming her, unless it was bad like now, it was interesting to say the least, from the view of the elevator she could see countless men and women move beneath her, training or attending meeting in the large open halls and buildings. Most were not actually F-Law Operatives but support personnel and people working on the overall management of the anarchistic fullbring community. In this place there were hundreds of research facilities, training camps for Fullbring development, medical care centers, housing and even hotels for quests, the training facilities had some of the most veteran and old fullbring in the world serving as mentors, she usually came her for training herself, unless she was seeing her father .

“Executive Floor”

Said the AI in a pleased tone as the doors started to open, dramatically slow, unveiling the room that lay at the other side as the doors slid open. The Executive Floor was not really a floor but a single large room and several smaller room that served the main one as storage places. It was not very decorated, the walls were soot black and the floors were marbled white with a red carpet dominating the ground, a big golden F in the middle, standing for F-Laws, indeed her father was actually the creator of the F-Laws, allthough they were on their own a independent group, he held enough influence to call the shots and had made himself out as a leader somehow, even though the F-Laws were in the end, completely autonomous from outside influence. The way her father managed to take control over whatever he wanted kept on amazing her, though it always made her realize just how little she knew about her “loveable” father, and she did not exactly like that.

“Sister”

She snapped out of her thoughts, realizing that she was face to face with her younger brother, just a year younger, he was kinda more like herself than her older brother and younger sister, he liked the same music and movies, enjoyed the same type of food and they both enjoyed going out clubbing, but he had always had one thing that they did’t share, while she enjoyed freedom above all else he found comfort in structured environments, it had caused them to fall away from eatchother as they had grown up and she had started seeing less and less of him.

“Father is not very happy about you, what where you thinking? You need to stop causing the family trouble like this or something will have to happen, you know?”

She just nodded with her eyes closed, breathing in as she tried to stop herself from replying with some bitter remark, as he passed her by and entered the elevator she noticed that he was wearing a red uniform, the golden F letter proudly shining on his right shoulder. So he had finally joined the F-laws huh? It didn’t come as a surprise to her, he had wanted to ever since he was 15, but to actually see him that uniform did not sit well with her.

“Rin!”
An angry voice called out to her and she did’t need to know the sound or the face of the speaker to know who where addressing her, only her father used her Maidens name instead of her actual name, she hardly liked it, mostly because it was also the old last name of her mother, it did not feel like a first name to her because of that, but no matter what she did she could never make herself stop him, it was probably because it was one of the few things that connected them.

“Your late.”

She felt a shiver of fear run down her spine as she heard his tone change to a threatening tune that he always used when he was displeased with her. His physical looks did not make it easier ether, he always looked like if he was about to send a dagger into your heart, well not always, she knew that he had a good side that he showed around her mother and his rare shows of affection, but normally he always seemed to wear the face of a viper.

"You brought down another building, caused irreperable damage to a boat, a plane and three cars, a furious deperatment manager saw you steal from his convience store aswell as a bakery had you spotted, even the police idendified you.. Do you realize how much this costs me?"

Its not my fault! I only wanted to create a hole so that I could ambush the criminal, but my fullbring decided to collapse the entire building!

She started, describing the events wildly with her hands, however she was quickly interupted by her fathers raised voice.

"You very well know the risk of your fullbring, it is your own fault that you attempted to use it, but that is not even the question her! Rin! What in the world where you doing chasing fullbring again!? I told you to stop! Why do you think I created the F-Laws?"

She did't reply. She knew he was right but then again not. The F-Laws had been created to hunt down those who broke the holy trinity, 3 unbreakable laws in the fullbring society. however none of these laws protected outsiders, a fullbring could do whatever he wished to the regular humans as long as he was not revealed to the humans, he could continue doing whatever he wanted, the F-Laws would not lift a finger. Recently when she had found out about such a Fullbring, she had started taking interest in them, and at one point she had managed to bring one down and it had given her a taste for it. She had tried to stop herself but a month ago she had found the trail of another one, and it had been irrisistable.

"Be glad that the fullbring survived, and that the building was abanonded, or I would have to do more than just give you a reprimand, Rin."

She nodded, the worst thing about being scolded like this was not really the scolding itself but her own feeling of guilt, she knew she had missed several training sessions with her father, they were boring tho, focused on mental training, but she knew her father cherished those lessons, she knew she was causing her family a heap load of trouble whenever she went on one of her adventures, but the problem was that she could hardly help it, it was an inate desire she could barly control, a hunger.

"I would like to find some proper punishment, but I am far too busy at the moment, and your mother is actually out searching for you.. so she won't be back in a while ether.."

Mother is..?

"She knows you have been found, but she was in Thailand by the time you were found in south-africa."

She could't help but giggle, she always found her mother horrible sense of direction hilerious.

"Its not funny Rin, you know how she gets."

She knew exactly how she got, her mother was like her father the type to take things in their own hands, a parcitularly problematic combo with someone as worriable as her mother, it was not the first time she had gone out to search for her and end up somewhere crazy, problem was that while she found it funny she knew it was hell for her, which made her sense of guilt grow even stronger. She wondered if this was how a drug addict felt about their addiction.

I am sorry..

"Words mean nothing! Show that you are sorry by going back to school, you have a whole month to catch up to.. If you want to get into a good university like your brothe-"

Yes, I got it.. Ill go back to school.

She cut him short before he allowed himself to start comparring his oldest son to her, it was something she particularly disliked. Her father rose from his place behind his large silver desk, he was wearing one of his strange garments again, traditional japanese clothing he kept telling her when she had asked why he kept wearing them, it reminds me of home, problem was that he had never talked about home, nor did her mother, as far as she knew they could both come from a different century.

He stepped out of his private space behind the desk that was litarly covered in documents, spreadsheets and a top-tier laptop, the kind you can't get through normal sources, a large F was printed on the back of it.

"I wish I could have more time to catch up to what you lost, but for now it will have to wait.."

He said quietly as he moved towards her, his legs moving like a ghost, soundless and perfect in every way, not wasting a single bit of energy, it was the movements of shinobi she had seen on old movies, she had never asked him why he walked in that way, but then again she never asked anything about her parents past, everyone in the family was aware that there was something amiss about their parents, but they knew better to try and find out, or atleast she thought, the curiosity in her was proving stronger as of late.

"Gomen-ne, Rin."

She felt his palm land on her head, ruffling her hair as he had done since she could remember, just like calling her "Rin" he had never stopped that ether, she had always felt like her father was permantly stuck in the past, he was also the type to suddenly phase out as if he was remembering something profound, being lost in past memories, yet nobody ever asked him what it was, they knew that there would be no answer to find.

"Ill try to find time tommorow.."

He left, his hand leaving her hair ruined by his brutish ruffling, the elevator closed and started going down without her, most likely he was going to attend some meeting regarding the F-Laws or he was just going to take the Fullbring exit, the one fullbring used to leave and come to the complex, he would use it at times to avoid press, so did they, mostly. She was just about to order the elevator to come back up once it had delivered her father when she suddenly realized, she was alone, in his office.

Normally, the office would go on lockdown once her father left the premises, leaving only people the option to leave, but now that had not happened, the desk, the doors, they were all open. She turned to look at the elevator, it was beeping with a greenlight signaling that it was ready to be called, her hand moved towards it, half intending to hit the switch to call the elevator, but she did't.

"Dammit.."

She could not restrain her curiosity, it was simply too much to ignore at the same time. Moving into the office she started looking through some documents that were laying around, it was not interesting of course, she was just building up courage for the real forbidden fruits that lay within this "sacred place". The only thing amongst the documents that peeked her interest was some damage reports surrounding F-Law operations, apperently a freak accident had caused one of the Fullbring Weapons to explode, causing irreperable damage to the face of a civilian.. And a letter from the president, another one, his pleas for Raven-co to support his next election campaign was getting kind of sad.

"Yosh.."

Having finally built up confidence she started slowly making her way towards one of the normally sealed doors that lead to the storage chambers, she had seen the others, mostly old fragments of their familiy memories, she knew those, boring, what was interesting was this chamber, a place where nobody in the family except her mother and father was allowed to go, no, probably not even mother.

The chamber was kept shut by a black door, usually it had an electrical barrier that kept her from touching it, but now, there was nothing, however she was very careful to check with the presidental letter, if it got fried, nothing would have been lost anyway.

"Safe.."

She sighed in relief, mostly because she had realized that if security was still on, touching the door with a letter would probably still electrocute her. She slapped her own face for doing something so retarded, though she realized what she was doing was probably the same, there was no telling how her father would react if he found out what she was doing, maybe she was unconsciously testing how far she could bend his patient? What she did know however was that she desperately wanted to know what waited behind that door, gnawed by her own concinece she decided to leave it up to fate, she kinda had to anyway, for there was only one way to open these locked doors.

God bless..

She let her hands touch the door as the started ligthing up, shrouding them in holy light. Her Fullbring was called "The World Only God Know" or simply "God Knows", it was very ironic since she considered herself an atheist, even though she knew of the existance of Shinigami and Hollows, even Soul Society was something she was aware of, any fullbring with some sort of respect for themselves did, but the idea of a god like in the bible was ridicelous to her, yet her fullbring was named what it was and she could not do anything to change it.

Open please..

Another problem with her Fullbring was the fact that she had little to no control over it, she could only wish hard and hope that it would do what she wanted it to do, using it was always a risk, she could actually risk blowing up the entire office by doing this, the only thing that could not happen when she used her Fullbring was self-harm, unless it came as a consequence of what she did, like a collapsing roof, so she sighed again in relief when she heard a single click, signaling that the lock had been undone. The Door swung open, she realized that there had been extra defences hidden behind the door, even another metal door was supposed to have prevented her actions but somehow her Fullbring had breached past the door and eliminated these obstacles aswell, however being thankful about this did not slip into her mind, she was too much focused on what she saw within, her jaw dropping slightly as she looked upon the strangest thing she had seen in her life.

"What... What the hell is that?"

Chapter 2: Family Secrets!

The room was misty and dark, like if an ancient japanese spirit had taken up house within and formed the environment to its liking, a single faint light muddled in the mist giving her the light she needed to see just clearly enough to gaze upon the object of her fixation.

Rising from the floor to the roof, two pitch black pillars rose before her, ending in a triangular roof that was halfway embedded in the roof, forming a dark gate of sorts, she could only guess was that it had to be made out of some sort of volcanic stone, its surface decorated in white skulls linked by bony hands that held one another in a chain, leading up to the top of a triangular roof where a horned devil, flanked by magnificent angels, gazed down upon her.

She was about to mouth a comment, or do something, something at all, when she saw something out of the corner of her eyes. A Shinigami Uniform, torn and ruined by signs of battle and stress, hanged lonely on the wall bordering the gate, its ruined form gazing down upon her as if held up by a ghost of the past, she felt shivers run down her spine as she realized it was an artifact of power, spiritual energy literary oozing from its ancient texture.

Her eyes were drawn downwards towards a table that was situated beneath the cloth, on this table there were a couple of locked metal boxes, the kind of precious lockets you keep memories and family treasures within. She felt like rushing out of the room and gather her mind, what the hell was a Shinigami uniform doing in her fathers office!? But she could not stop her insatiable curiosity, her hands reached for one of the lockets, her fingers ligthing up as she spoke one of the many words that aktiavted her strange abilities.

"God Bless.."

The locket opened up, revealing its contents to her prying hands which quickly snatched the first thing she found within, a picture, bringing the picture up to her eyes she had to squint to properly make it out in the bad light. The picture was an old black and white one, ancient by todays standards, it was taken of some japanese looking city, industrial by her first guess, it looked peaceful.

Hiroshima: august 9. 1945.

She cursed her own lack of patience in class, the name and date reminded her of something but she could not for the life of her remember what it is, she sucked at history! She turned the picture around to look at the backside, there there was something written in old japanese, the kind of most of her freinds could never hope to be able to read, it was that old, but she could, it was her fathers handwriting afterall.

Remember the Sun..

She sighed, "what was that supposed to mean?" she let the picture back down into its hold and pulled out another one, another picture of the same city, nothing was written behind this one though, so she kept looking through the pictures held within. Some were of the outside of the city while some where of the insides, they all dated around the same time, august, 1945, she quickly threw them all back inside, they were useless to her to the point where they did nothing to remind her about her own lack of knowledge, however one picture that she had thrown back into the box suddenly drew her attention. It was a picture of household, typical old japanese home, outside stood a young man, his father and mother, the young man, about her own age if not a tad older reminded her of someone close but she could not fully place him, but still, she had a hard time drawing her eyes away from him, from those eyes, those razor sharp eyes.

She let the picture finally drop back into the box, she had tried but she could not place the man, she guessed he reminded her of her father but that was impossible, her father was too young to have been born in that era of time. She managed to somehow lock the box and went over to another that to her surprise was not locked at all, she gingerly opened it and found within a strange wooden tablet, shoulder sized it had a red ribbon strap which you could use to attach it to your limbs, probably your arms. Carved into the wooden texture it was written

"Seireitei: 9ht Division: 3rd seat; "

The following name was erased, she looked up at the Shinigami uniform and wondered if the two pieces belonged, her eyes were then drawn to a fine long wooden box, larger than the others it looked like it was made by a master-craftsman, she had not seen it before now because it had been partly covered by a dark cloak, as she removed it she noticed that it carried the faint scent of her mother, so she had been here afterall? She carefully placed it in a bundle next to the box and started getting to work on the lock that actually opened almost as soon as she had let her hands upon it, with a smile she opened the box, unvieling what lied within.

A Sword, a Kodachi to be exact, rested within red silk, its black hilt firmly placed into a socket that seemed to be handcrafted for the blade. It looked old, no, it felt old, it actually looked brand new, its blade shone as if it was made of silver and the hilt looked unused, it felt strange to look at and before she knew it she had grabbed ahold of the hilt and held the blade up to her eyes, it was fascinating to look and somehow she felt compelled by it, almost entranced, it called to her and she felt like replying.

However she noticed when looking close at it that something was written on the surface of the blade in ancient japanese, but she somehow understood what was written there, even though she really should not.

"Memories are the materials of a Soul, the foundation of the spirit."

Getting a strange sensation from reading this, she turned the blade around and found that something was written there too.

"Blood is the currency of the soul, the silver plate of the will."

She noticed as she studied the blade, a thick envelope resting within the box, previously hidden by the blade it was now unveiled, rotating the blade over in her other hand she picked up the envelope, she compentlate opening it but then suddenly she heard something from behind and as a snap reaction she hid the envelope within her jacket, she could hear whispering.

She froze still as she realized that the sound did not originate from anything that was still alive, the voices were like that of ghosts calling out from the other side; their voices angry and full of hate, or sorrow, melancholy or any other strong powerful emotion that might have carried over into death. The dread that the voices gave her touched upon her back and snaked its way up her spine where it placed a cold hand around her neck, causing her blood to go cold, her skin to pale. Sweat started to pimple at her temple, her hair slowly turning wet, she knew where the voices came from, and it horrified her, the whispering came from the gate!

Martyr..

She did not dare to look at it, the senstation of dread and her fear for her own life were too great, it felt like if she looked it would consume her whole.

Murderer..
Savior!..

Finally gathering courage she managed to make a move for the door, rushing at it as fast as she could make her legs go, however just as she reached the exit that would take her into her fathers office, into familiarity and safety, she regretted coming her, now she only wanted to go home, away from this place! However just as was about to leave the room, the door slammed in her face.

"Security Systems Reactivated"

Announced the cold voice of a semi-artificial inteligence, the unforgiving doors locked shut, forcing her to take a quick step backwards to avoid being crushed by the now closing security gates, its burnished metal loaded hot with deadly electricity.

"No!!

She found herself screaming in frustration, why now!? she thought, attempting to get her mind of the dreadful whispering that was now echoing clearly in her head, she was not normally a fearful girl, she was never scared of horror movies and she enjoyed the adrenaline of putting herself into danger, but this? This unatural fear got through to her like she had never experienced before, and she had no idea how to cope.

Demon..
Evil..
Traitor..
Fall!..

Shu-Shut-Shut Up!!!

Finally snapping, she rotated on her heel, her teeth gritted and fists glowing hot with the energy of her fullbring, she did not even bother looking at the gate, her eyes were closed shut as she launched herself forward, intending to destroy the gate with her fullbring by hitting one of the pillars with all her might and hopes.. However, due to her distress she had forgotten one important detail.

God Smite!!!

Her right hand..
The one she intended to slam into the pillar.
Was still holding onto the sword.

Its silvery metal glanced off the stone, the ripples that was sent through the metal and into her hand made her realize the mistake and the blow made her stumble and fall, her foot caught something and she was thrown forward, and in a desperate attempt at trying to keep herself from faceplanting with the ground she threw her free hand towards the other pillar in hope of stopping the fall, but her hand found only empty space, the pillar was gone.

Huh..?

And so was she.

Chapter 3: Out of Place

Mmmm..

She groaned tiredly as she roused from her slumber, her heavy eyelids opening to gaze out at the room, but she found nothing, where was the dark room, her fathers storage?

It was gone.

She quickly rose from the ground, she felt tired, her bones ached slightly as if they had been thrown about in a centrifuge, and she felt a slight headache bounce around inside her brain.

...This..

She felt at a loss of words as she realized her surroundings; she was within the ruins of a building, white walls and floor made up a building that had seen battle in the past, huge holes and crates were spread around the place, the cold light of a moon filtered through the holes, lighting up the otherwise dark space.

So it was some sort of gate..

She found her hair filled with dust and sand which was littered on the floor, she spent some time cleaning her hair of sand as she slowly made her way towards the opening, a huge blast had made a make-shift door for her, which she planned to use to escape the building, though before she left she remembered to look back, where she had come from.

Nothing..

Not even a clue of why she had been transported here, no beacon, or some kind of relay that she had seen in sci-fi shows, why here then? She wished she had listened more closely to her dads lectures.. What had he said again, about gates?

This is not earth..

She reached the entrance where she was forced to climb up a dune of sand in order to actualy get out of the building, she kicked and pushed through the cold white sand until she finally managed to climb up on top, where her eyes met a sight that caused her air to leave her lunges. She was standing outside the roof of the building she had just been within, a small outcrop of a structure in the midst of a huge desert, a desert of pristine white sand, strange plants and a soot black sky that sported a strange curved moon, that seemed to laugh at her.

She remembered this scene from her fathers vivid lectures, this was Hueco Mundo, land of the dead, the place where hollows go when the are not roaming the human world.

A sting of fear ran down her spine but something else came back up, further fueled by the fear, her insane lust for adventure reached her heart. She took one step forward, then another, and another and then she found herself running across the white dune sea, her bringer of light causing her to gain an incredibly momentum that made her look like a ghost of yellow light flash across the landscape.
The land was endless, the dunes reaching on and on forever before her eyes, here and there she saw the outcropings of rocky hills, but otherwise it was a barren landscape, not unlike how she had been explained, though she remembered one thing and the major point of her fathers lectures about the planes, it had been about how to get out in case you got trapped on one, and how important it was that you escaped, how many dangers, the usual.

I can go so fast here..!

She laughed loudly as the adrenaline started to pump into her veins, the feeling of fullfillment and joy of being in a completely new place, a completely new experience, was like a drug to her, and she could not get enough, to hell with her fathers advice! She could't remember how to get back anyway so why worry about it!

"Rooooooar!!!"

The ground shaked and thundered as Huge worm-like thing about the size of a house and the length of a train erupted from the ground, its body covered in white bone and red stripes, a horrifying mouth of tremendous proportions snapped towards her as it attempted to snatch her out of the air.

Whoa..!

Ten Minutes Later

Ahahahahaha!!! Ike!

Forward Hugo!

Rolling across the dune sea at a breakneck pace crawled the sand worm hollow, its body bounding forward in huge leap like movements as it rushed forward, spurred on by the girl surfing on its bony head. Smaller unfornate hollow was crushed beneath its massive bulk. Kana was ecstatic, it was long since she had so much fun in such a short amount of time, and she did't want it to stop.

Faster! Let me see whats beyo-

As if the heavens answered her prayers she started to see the outline of a tower, then another, and soon she saw a massive fortress looking building in the distance, a domed city of white, the worm continued going for a while until she was within throwing distance of one of the towers, at which point the worm refused to go any further, she attempted to use her technigue to get it to move further, but it was futile, its desire to keep away from the domed city was too strong, this caused her to frown a little as she had almost grown to like the thing, but the fear she saw in the worm made her extided, there was something intense about the sight of the white walled structure and she wanted nothing more than to find out what lay inside! Her father had never mentioned anything about something like this, infact he had insisted that Hueco Mundo was a barren landscape, and nothing more. Had he lied? Or did he not know about this place.. Regardless, she wanted to find out and with a pat on the head and a strict order to wait behind she dropped down and started moving towards the fortress.

Entry Point: Denizen of Hueco Mundo can ask for invitation to the thread.

The arrancar had only just made it back from patrolling the vicinity for any vasto lorde activity and high ranking arrancar a like; though, he had discovered another arrancar a female one and an adjuchas; though, feeling a bit unsure of them both and he simply puts them both in the back of his mind, as he was well on his way towards his favorite look out point. The very top of Las Noches, the height gave a wonderous view of Hueco Mundo and the astouding moon.

However, upon approaching his destination while walking along the path way a top the masssive fortresses wall, he feels a presence slightly ''different'' from the average inhabitants of the vicinity and gains a slight curiousity to this visitor; the arrancar turns his attention to the left and notices someone approaching the wall.

''A shinigami?... No, shinigami won't travel here alone...''

* The arrancar releases a bit of reiatsu to bring about some curiosity within the visitor. *

Kana struggled a bit as she found the terrain to be a bit rough, she thought about using her light steps again but she wanted to conserve her energy, there was no telling when she would need it again.

Whev..

It took some time, but she finally managed to reach the entrance she had spotted a bit earlier, a dark entrance that seemed unnecessary tall, which made it pretty ominous to look at.

Does a giant live here or something..?

She asked herself out loud, she said it to humor herself, in a joking fashion, she did't really believe that, or did she? A strange feeling tickled the back of her neck, and for some reason her headache got a bit worse, a pressure gathering up inside her skull then vanishing for no reason.. She wondered what had caused it but she shrugged it off as random bodily functions.

But really.. This is huge.

Looking at the uneven rectangle of a entrance she felt a cold chill run down her spine, maybe her joke actually was spot on, a tear of sweat ran down the side of her head before she violently shook that paranoid thought away.

Yosh.. Lets go.

Trying to ignore the feeling that something was watching her, she started wandering into the doorway, which lead her into a long hallway that went on for quite a bit, following this she found herself at a crossroad where she promptly tossed a coin, which results angered her and she ended up choosing the path to the right instead of the coinly suggested left, this route lead her to a large room where the ceiling was so far above her head it was partly fogged out, there were many more roads leading from this room and she desired to quickly choose one and continue moving but..

There was something else in the room.

''Trying to ignore me huh?''

* The arrancar said with a slight playful yet frustrated tone of voice. *

The right thing to do would be to follow..... Gemelos sonido ''

* The arrancars body pauses as he spoke those last two words of his sentence and fades within his sonido motion he had left several after images which appeared and faded like the foots prints in the sand on an isoltated beach. The sheer distance between he and the visitor was quickly cleared in a manner of seconds, finally he stops gracefully entering and passing the doorway then into the hallway. *

''How long has it been since I last traveled these halls, brings about the nostalgic memories of my adjuchas days.''

* The long corridor contained the memories of his past hollow lives, as he went on a smile formed across his face but then sadness overtakes him as his comrades long gone from now, their memories linger in these halls. Finally, he reaches the corner, if he turned the corner he would see just who this visitor was but kept the moment in suspense in order to observe what his guest was trying to accomplish. *

She lingered for a moment, not knowing whether to turn around or not, but then she realized something and kept going, she exited the room by taking a doorway to the right, then she kept going up some pretty narrow stairs until she reached the exit that lead her onto a balcony overlooking the gate.

Hehe..

She had learned a trick from her mother once, she went over to the right and released a vague spiritual presence, the kind that a spiritual sensing human exhibit normally.. Then, she used a trick she had learned from her father, she held her breath for a moment and used her focus to withdraw all her spiritual pressure, becoming a ghost as she lightly sneaked up to the left of the door that would take others onto the balcony.. Effektivly, for someone who used their spiritual senses to aid them, namely shinigami and hollow and the like, they would think that she was located on the right side of the balcony, while in reality she was hiding right next to the door so that anyone who entered and turned towards what they thought was the person they followed, they would be turning their back on the real one.

If there are anyone following me.. They should come around eventually.

She thought to herself, smiling cleverly as she took up position, focusing intensely on keeping her pressure away.

''Wait, what just happened?''

* The arrancar steps into the room and wanders a bit. *

''The fact that who ever entered this room, then to leave it, disappear and then have their reiatsu fluctuate means I've been detected seems to me I need to work on my stealth more''

* The arrancar follows of course, keeping sharp around the corner he peeks and see's nothing but the balcony door, seemingly suspicious looking as he observes its entrance from a distance. *

''Uh huh...

* He reaches the entrance to the door and taps his left foot a couple of times at least to get an reaction from what was ahead but instead he quickly had something else in mind the good old fashion set up. The arrancar enters the door and turns to the right, his body then pauses stiff without any facial movement after entering. *

Kana observed the movements of the person that had entered the balcony, she wondered if she should try to sneak past or try to talk to the invidiual, she considered ambushing also but she shook that thought out of her mind, why should she attack someone out of the blue like that.

Deciding to be careful, actualy heeding her fathers warnings for once she slowly sneaked around the corner and rushed down the corridor that she had arrived from.

Not so fast...

* The arrancars voice appeared before he did, his hands held in his pockets. The afterimage he had set was a perfect decoy as he lied in wait in the darkness of the corridor; all the while concealing his own reiatsu and presence. *

Your not going any further....

* The arrancars words carried his seriousness and power as he blocked the way his young female visitor had taken before but at the same time wondering how and why a human would be in such a place. *

(I am going to assume you already know how she looks so I won't spend too much time on it.)

The girls eyes widened in surprise for a moment as she was intercepted in the hallway, however that surprise turned into a smile as the body dispersed into glimmering light.

"Nice trick you did there.. could you teach me?"

The sound of a female girls voice originated from behind him, turning around he realized that the girl was standing just a few feet away from where they had both come from in the first place.

"Are you the owner of this place?"

Being able to see the girl clearly the arrancar realized there was something awfully familliar about the girl, her Aura was one of light, like that of regular humans, but it had hints of darkness, quite like that of hollow but not just, it was strange to place and even though the eyes also gave him pangs of nostalgia, she was impossibly to place. Yet it was clear that she was a regular human, and somehow even though he had a fearsome aura, if not simply a fearsome sight, he was an arrancar afterall, the girl seemed completely oblivious, or simply unafraid of the danger he symbolized, she simply looked at him with curious eyes, hungry for information.

'' How clever...''

I could teach you some things, in time....

* The arrancar observed the human before him, cautious yet impressed at the fact that she could surpass him in speed, if not in intelligence; however, he moved onto answering the young female humans question, unresistant at the fact that she was a complete stranger. *

Yes, I' am the current ruler of this ''place'' Las Noches is its name but you human, you are a strange one indeed....

''This girl, somethings wrong, her presence it reminds me of someone. A person who's names unforgettable to me and yet sends chills down my spine; a person both responsible for this immense power and this agonizing solitude....''

The girl laughed, she did not seem at all wierded out by the situation, or afraid even though she was standing before a monstrous power that was well beyond her own.

Strange huh..
Your the strange one to me you know?

He learned another thing, that this girl was completely without social scroupels, as she asked him the question she leaned close and started poking his face, as if she was trying to see if there would be some kind of reaction her eyes filled with curiosity and wonder.

Your an Arrancar right?
Sugoi.. This is the first time ive seen one.
Where is your mask fragment?

* The arrancar stepped back a bit surprised to feel the young girls warm touch on his face. The arrancars hood fell backwards revealing his appearance; he's a brown skinned male with jet black hair with faint white-ish gray coloring on the tips, he possesses black eyes with a gray circle in the center of them, housing a deep white horizontal slit very similar to that of snakes eyes, piercing and menacing in nature. The arrancars mask remains resembles that of a black ring with a deep crimson red stone in its center, engraved on the left side is the number one and primera engraved on the left in white, located on his left palms middle finger; the second fragment remained hidden within his throat while the other remained hidden within his sleeve. *

A lady isn't suppose to get that close to a mans face, especially a stranger, it can cause misunderstandings!!

* He was slightly flustered a bit surely he was a shy a arrancar especially around woman, shying away as he blushed slightly but quickly regained his composure.*

Indeed, I' am an arrancar but this grace was given to me by a man named hak...No, I can't remember his name, why can't I remember his name!?! A beings who's name I had engraved within my very soul was forgotten!?!

* The arrancars body glowed in a spectacle of grey, dark-crimson red and jet black his reiatsu he was keeping bottled up stirred violently within him due to frustration and desperation, fearing that he would destroy his home, he calmed himself down and stepped back from his guest for safe measure.*

Mask fragment? Ah yes that, my dear that will remain a secret....

What are you talking about?

She asked in a non-demanding manner while laughing slightly at the sudden charade of seemingly random words the Arrancar had just spouted at her, she was surprised that an Arrancar could blush though and she noted it in her head that she would have to push that further sometime.

Your, really, strange.

She closed her eyes and put her head down on her upraised arm in a thinking socrates gesture, she seemed to be thinking hard for a moment before suddenly opening her eyes as she thrusted her right hand towards the arrancar, pointing at him with a trimumphant expression on her face.

Ok, Ive decided!
Ill make this place my secret base, got any problems with that!?

She had a mad light in her eyes, as a play-full trickster but it also held a seriousness that made it go beyond the childish play of a brat, she really ment it.

No, its nothing... I'll remember his name later....

* The arrancar expression changed immediately, seemingly in disbelief of the girls ''challenge''. Though surprised, he wasn't looking down upon the human but evidence shown before, reveals that the girl was capable of combat and strategic thought also the thought of him releasing his reiatsu in the palace wasn't an option he would he to take this outside. *

Oh sure I'll just hand it over to yo...

* The arrancars expression and lips frozen before he could finish, his body fades and disappears; he had retreated outside leaping from the balcony from before and standing outside to await, his opponents arrival on the white sands; he hadn't survived this long as ruler for his good looks but speed, if not his sneakiness. *

''Sonido, works every-time.... ''

Heh?

The girl looked dumbfounded for a moment as the Arrancar had suddenly vanished, she scratched hear head for a bit as she thought through the line of events before she finally came to a conclusion.

Guess its ok then.. Yosh! Time to find the throne room, there must be one somewhere!

Turning around she started to run into the Las Noches, leaving the Arrancar waiting alone outside.

* Seconds pass by *

I don't think shes coming......

* Minutes pass by *

She should be now....

* Nearly an hour passes by *

The human should be gone by now, guessing she wasn't serious after all maybe it was a joke? Nah, nothing ever comes out of second guessing yourself....

* The arrancar, now looking like a complete idiot, reluctantly sonido's and scales the large fortresses wall; using his advanced speed his runs along a walls upwards onto the top of a large tower it faced the balcony of another tower distant from where he was and thus the arrancar jumps forward propelling himself through the air towards his destination. *

Kana did not dwell on the encounter she had just had, she was more curious than ever now and wanted to explore every crook and cranny of this enormous fortress.

She passed through some overhanging arcs as she crossed over a large empty room that could easily have served as a dining place but there were no furniture to speak of, infact she had not seen anything but a few white chairs and tables made out of the same stuff the walls were built of.

She was about to pass into another corridor when she noticed a branching path that lead into a darkened room, you could barly see anything in there, she wanted to skip it but she felt a presence inside and that was enough to peek her curiosity enough to approach the darkness.

"Hello, anyone there?"

She called out into the darkness, her silluethe visible with the light at her back as she stood in the light coming in from the room behind her, peering into the darkness within.

"To whom does that sweet voice beckoning me belong?" Reina asked from the darkness, the room slowly lighting up as to not hurt her eyes. The dark room was actually what appeared to be a large throne room of sorts. With several doors from the walls to who knows where, a torch sconce between each door, and an impressive white throne. Reina was resting on this stone slab of furniture until beckoned by the girl.

She stands and slowly walks to her, no air of malevolence permeating from her. There was only loneliness and curiosity. "However did you get inside, little mouse? What is your name? Your occupation? Age? Family? Now that you are here, you might as well share what news you have brought from the surface to the hawk. Make yourself at home and rest as you weave your tale onto my tapestry."
