I'm sad it's over. I loved this manga. The ending was sort of cliche and I was disappointed that we didn't get to see the wedding or the other characters (even though we saw them in the last chapter). I didn't remember Azuki and Mashiro's other promise though but I did like that he used his uncle's notes (even though that made it seem unnatural). Hope there is an epilogue chapter.

On a side note, I don't think I'm ever satisfied with how mangas/animes end. Only exception where I actually loved the ending was Fullmetal alchemist (manga).

I enjoyed the ride and have learned a lot about manga through this manga. Can't wait to see their next work!

this was a good ending, im satisfied with it , cause we all know it could have been much wrose
but i do agree the wedding thing would be a nice touch, i just feel this ending is missing a little something

Kind of a nice concept that they are back to the original place for the promise since it came true.

Made a pause after 175 and didn't know that 176 would be the End.
It was a good time reading this. Will miss it, but I'm looking forward to the anime-versions and the new project Ohba and Obata will do.

So, what year is it at the ending of this manga?

around 2018 I think.

Oh wow...I knew Bakuman had ended but I never knew it was at 176...was expecting a few more chapters since I hadn't read it for a while. Was pretty good, I thought there would've been a wedding though and may be a little moment between the mangakas and Ashirogimuto and Eiji. It was only about at Mashiro and Azuki...they could added bit more in...chapter seemed short for only being a final one.

Did feel like something was missing but its been a great manga, I will miss it. Too many been ending x.x

It was a decent ending. I loled when Saiko showed up in a Ferari.

This is actually the first manga I read from the beginning of its publication.

Okay, I didn't expect it would end this way. But I'm so glad they finally did it! I want to see a special or a bonus chapter about some time in the future. I guess it's fine this way too. Readers can have different speculations as to how things went after this. Overall, the manga was awesome! Kudos to Obata and Ohba-sensei! :D

The ending is pretty good! I like how the author of this manga reintroduced the other side characters before ending it and of course finally mashiro got what he wanted! :)
Well.. i kinda wished there would be an extra chapter which consist of Mashiro and Azuki 's wedding, and their future!:3

The ending couldn't have been more predictable.

Pretty much what I hoped for too... Oh well, it was still a good ending.

... It really was very predictable for the last episodes, but nonetheless I liked them quite a bit.

i like how it ends like proposing to where they start their promise, but im not satisfied on it.. the best part is the wedding but they dont have it. i dont like to run my imagination on what happen next..
i wanna see the team fukuda on the wedding esp. eiji and hiramaru.. hiramaru lol me too much :D

Ending left much to be desired.

I'm going to give the chapter and the ending different points since i'll be viewing the chapter as a normal chapter and NOT as the final chapter of the manga. ;)

The chapter deservers a 5/5 in my opinion because the chapter was great. After 10 years they finally have made their dream come true and are going to get married.

The ending will get a 4/5 since i would love to see the wedding and/or a XX-year time jump to see what has become of everybody (not just Mashiro and Azuki but also Team Fukuda, The Editors and a few others).

It was getting boring, I'm glad it's over.

I really love this manga. To bad it ended but it was the right time. I would've liked to see more Mashiro x Azuki moments though. A wedding scene would've been nice. That's the only complaint I got on this manga. The rest was perfect.

I really want to read some of the manga in Bakuman. PCP, Money and Intelligence, Crow, Otter 11, Reversi and Zombie all look like awesome manga to me. It must be quite weird for the author of Bakuman, trying to think of a manga in a manga haha =D

No matter how much I love Bakuman, I was hugely let down by the final chapter. We were looking forward to this chapter since the very beginning of the manga, and all we get is that?! First of all, not a single of the secondary characters (not even Takagi) got any kind of closure in the final two chapters, not a memorable one at least. Second, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that went on in the series was so that they could get married and we don't even get to see the actual wedding? They could have had a grand finale, showing Mashiro's speech at the wedding, Takagi as the best man, seeing how close all the characters (Fukudagumi/editors/assistants) have grown through the series and many more. And finally, what went on in the very last page would have fit perfectly in the wedding.

Sorry for my huge rant. I will always love Bakuman despite that ending.
