Actually pretty cool episode, Akune is a great character, second favorite already after Zenkichi. Im hoping he stays in the plot at least.

Just wish they did something about his hair ending up behind his eyes?!

Well, evidently people like this series. I'm surprised.

I am actually having a hard time sitting through the episodes--true, Medaka is very attractive and I appreciate the fanservice, but I'm not sure that is enough. It may just be that there's lack of a real plot, so I'm finding it boring. Maybe a plot will still develop.

Only because the episode's first half was decent, I'll give it a few more casual watches to see if it improves. 5/10 for now, however.

She never did in the manga so far, although the current arc could allow some fitting nudity scenes.

Medaka Box starts really slow and can be tedious, it wasn't easy to read and is not easy to watch but since Akune showed up things will get a lot better.

good episode. And LOL, medaka mention Precure. at least the original one.

They should just rename this crap Medaka's Tits. Although we also got some man boobs from Akane this week.

Boring sloppy dialogue, aimless story that may or may not be going anywhere at a snail's pace and an uninteresting cast of characters. This has turned into a chore to watch.

Meh, that Medaka floundering her body proudly didn't have that great of an effect like in the manga. Mostly because of the voice. Yes, still hating on the seiyuu choice
Akune's voice is perfect though. And that dialect from Nabeshima-senpai.
So Akune vs Zenkichi. At least we're going at a fast pace.

The episode was good. Besides, it's only on episode 3. Why do people expect this show to be so fast paced?

It's because it's a shounen, and has the names Gainax and Nisioisn behind it. People are expecting the wrong bloody things.

The first 15 or so chapters didn't have a continuous plot as we're still in the introductory stage, and they pale in comparison to chapters 50 onwards. It just sucks like all hell that the anime is only getting 12 episodes, and that Gainax are doing a straight one chapter per half episode adaptation.

Also it's funny how people call this a crap adaptation when so far it's been so faithful it hurts.

Sure is going slowly, at least well made i guess.
It's awesome to hear ToyoAki getting back to ep1 voice, it's pretty good considering her standards even more. She didn't try in ep2 at all though so i hope it won't go like Tekken games with her voice for Medaka.

Kotobuki Minako as Nabeshima is just according to keikaku, and Akune sounds fitting. I already forgot how lulzy he is due to lack of appearance in manga these days.
Still can't wait for Kayano Ai doing Kikaijima, should take a few more episodes.

Dat Ahoge... Is there such a thing as "Ahoge Moe"? If not, there should be.

Now we have Akune the bishounen and prince of the judo club as rival for Zenkichi. xD

Comparing Rias to Medaka is like comparing poop to the greatest anything ever. Just saying.



I like this so far. It's entertaining. It may not match up to Bakemonogatari's majestic majesty, but it's fun. And I love Medaka, seriously. She is wonderful.

Don't know why I doubted Namikawa Daisuke as Akune, he's doing a perfectly fine job.

Finally getting closer to introducing all the mains and getting to the actual start of the plot. Looking forward to it.

Good episode tho i gotta admit i lost a lot of interest in this adaption when i found out how short it was O_O; well i suppose out of what the intro arc actually consists of this part of it wasn't bad.
