I was looking at the list of discussions and I saw this one and was like "Wow, who posted about Rental Magica?!" and then when I opened it up I realized it was me........ hahahhaha.

This show still looks win, and I am glad to see a lot of people ptw it :D

The plot seems interesting, but, it all depends on whether it keeps up with an actual plot. Some series last spring seemed like they'd have a plot but then ended up being random.

*shrug*

I do like the character designs and what excites me the most is that apparently there are a lot of myths taken from various places that will be in the series.

Darker than Black could have been stronger in the plot department.

And Kaze no Stigma was a perfect example. Straight from intriguing and unique plot to overly cliche. (Though I'm not sure if that was spring 07)

Yeah Kaze no Stigma was, though I personally thought it was great. Granted, not as good as its novel counterpart, but still pretty good (haven't watched last episode yet).

But Darker than Black I dropped at episode 4 or something. I just didn't think too much of it.

But that's for a different topic ;)

So I just read the synopsis and am looking forward to this more than I was....

Art also captured my attention... and I'm a sucker for somewhat reasonable fantasy in a modern day setting. I'll keep my expectations in check until I hear more about the plot, but we'll see how it goes. Looks promising, hope it will be. :)

i love the art muchly! <3's i'm an art fanatic when it comes to anime/manga; if the art isn't to my liking, even though i like the plot, i won't watch/read it. <___<; *pickypicky*
i have this series on my PTW list, too. will definately watch after a few eps are out. :3

I'll watch it for sure... just don't know when since I have college entering tests in a month and a half + a bunch of anime to be watched.

I have already finished it and....it's not that good, lack of character's development, a lot of thing left unsolved and reuse-scenes make this anime become so-so at the most.

Same here. But since I haven't seen anything beyond the first episode the look is about all that is similar.
