Most of us should know already that some manga is put into our reading direction, left to right, but sometimes it is left going right to left. Which do you prefer, and why? El. Psy. Congroo. |

Right to left because most manga series' reading direction are like that and I've gotten used to it. |

I'm so used to right-to-left, and until a few months ago, I had never even read a left-to-right comic, so I much prefer right-to-left, especially for manga. It's irritating when I'm reading a scanlation and all of a sudden the next chapter has been scanned from an official english volume and happens to be left-to-right. Throws me off. |

right to left. Can hardly find a manga that actually reads left to right. Now I'm just used to it so it would be weird switching it around. ![]() It's easy to compliment someone that you'll never envy, but even easier to try and tear down someone who's better than you. |

Right to left. The last time I read a manga from left to right, I got so confused and couldn't go with the flow. |

My mind is more comfortable with right to left. I always catch myself reading that way in Korean manhwa. |

I've gotten used to right to left, so that's what I prefer when reading manga. Sometimes I try to read western comics right to left out of reflex and I get very confused. |

When I read a manga/mangwa and I don't know the readin direction I automatically start from right to left unless it doesn't make any sense. Right to left is easier to read for me. |

Although I'm used to right to left, I prefer left to right if it's in English. Reading sentences left to right, and panels right to left disrupts my flow and slows down my reading. |

Since manga books are read of the "back" of the book, you read from right to left. It feels more right and unique that way. Edit: Thanks to mangas, I read newspapers starting from its last page lol. Modified by MikskitzO, 04-20-12, 5:34 AM |

I'm good either way but if I were to have to choose, I'd probably go for right-to-left. Why? All of the reasons [about right-to-left] above. ❝ It's always a lot easier to let something fall apart than it is to try to hold it together. ❞ |

As long as the manga is good, I couldn't care less. Ntad: One day, you might get to sit in a Striker like I did ![]() |

doesn't make any difference to me, i do automatically assume it's from right-to-left though, doesn't put me 'off my flow' if not though >_> |

actually i didn't know that they put some mangas into left to right format O.o ... i can't see why that would make it any worse though, but it would probably pay off more to go ahead and get used to right to left so that you can read most manga without trouble ... *though, after getting used to right to left and trying to read calvin and hobbes, well, it was hell, i kept reading the punchline before the set up just out of force of habit T.T ![]() |

I prefer left to right, it's just the way I prefer reading anything. It took me forever to get used to reading manga right to left, but I still prefer it the other way... |
