Confirmed for 1-cour only then instead of the rumors of 45+ eps.

inb4 they announce season 2 which is highly unlikely.
inb4 we need more than one season for this.

Gainax never made a series longer than 30 episodes anyway, oh well the manga is still ongoing anyway and its very good, the manga art is great too

Its a shame the anime is only going to get to cover the most boring arc of the manga O_O; where did that 45 episode rumor come from anyway?

Were is the official confirmation that Medaka Box is 12 episodes?. I have not seen official confirmation from weekly jump or the official website which normally states how many episodes a show is getting.

Why would they release a new promotional video just yesterday if it is only 12 episodes and regarding that press release they mention the battle royale and secrets of the school which basically is the flask plan which if it was 12 episodes would not even reach there so why would they mention it?

OMG NOOOOOOO!!! I want this to have more episodes than Beelzebub!! Guess I'll have to wait for a second season or read the manga, unless they changed their mind about having just 12 episodes. Hope the sales do well

For those who want a good story, with action adventure genre, with awesome characters, setting, and world building, and a tiny bits hinted romance along with badass actions, do try out Tower of God, it'll be the best thing you ever read in your whole life till date! (am serious not exaggerating) :D

-12/10. Dub or Not, 12 is too minuscule for a adaptation of the ultimate troll manga

WHYYYYYY

Jesus fuck, does it always have to be Sentai? I'm "looking forward" to their butchered dub filled with needless cussing and American pop culture references, assuming they don't just go sub-only.

Because Medaka Box is obviously filled with DEEP and INTERESTING characters with EMOTIONAL backstories that are IMPOSSIBLE to carry over into English!

why do ppl complain about shows being dub into their own language? (even if its not ex. english.) If you dont like the dubs dont watch...its not like ur money will help them (since ur obviously not going to buy it)
In the end all things die, and all things are forgotten. It may take 1 day or a thousand years, but our names, deeds, and very existences will vanish unto dust in the end. From dust man came and to dust he returns.

But while man forgets, that which is beyond man remembers. Our true legacy lies not in the annals of history but the formless memories of creation itself. While civilizations rise and fall with the wind, God will never forget

QBR better be uncensored and as for Sentai and dubs won't happen, Subs only, breath a sigh of relief.

So I guess since Sentai got Queens Blade this doesn't bode well for Media Blasters I guess we will be hearing them biting the dust soon.

Lol wtf does that mean?

QB was Media Blaster's biggest title and Sentai getting the newest season isn't a good sign.

Great, Queen's Blade has an even smaller chance of getting subbed in a timely fashion.

How about they actually "simulcast" it instead of making everyone wait an eternity for subs?

Why? Because Sentai sucks? Don't get me wrong, i prefer the japanese voices, but the english dubs is always a plus.

No I love Sentai and I also love English dubs I was saying it isn't a good sign for Media Blasters cause QB was their cash cow and it wouldn't surprise me if they were the next to fold.

That is not what I'm saying here. I watch dubs. Hell, I usually prefer to watch anime in English over Japanese.

It's just that Sentai's dubs are usually, um, pretty fucking terrible. I like Medaka Box, and would have liked for it to have a good or decent dub. Sentai will most likely fail in that regard, going by their track record.
