Ah it said in the end New Project Start. This suggest that Mirai Nikki is getting either 2nd season (New type of battle in the 3rd world) or OVA ( fanservice with Manga ending)

This is NOT the END yet!!!

Just wish that they dont add paradox into the mix... although they are going to be ova sooner or later

well done very good anime this episode takes 5/5 from me...
the anime was something special but nobody actually dies in the end and this is kinda dissapointing for me---> 8/10
and the end kinda alters from the manga's end.

Average ending for average anime. It's a shame it was good once.

6/10

anybody want to spoiler tag the explination of all this hammer talk to me?

lol im obviously not a manga reader but im curious

thoughts on the episode- it provided me with some nice closure, its nice to see how everyone in the third world is living happily and also sad to see the state yuuki was left in despite it was because of him that the third world diary owners get to enjoy different fates ..

thoughts on the series- im going with 7/10 the plot was different and enjoyable, the development on all the different diary owners was very good but while yuuki does end up as a likeable character i hated him for all about 80 percent of the show...

but yeah anyone want to tell me what this hammer is

The ending was kind of a surprise for me. I should've expected that Yuno wouldn't kill Yukiteru but the entire episode had me going, "what?" ... "what?", especially after that event. Overall the ending was nice to see some of the characters have happier lives in the third world, but it for some reason left me a little... unsatisfied?
In general for me, the whole series was pretty good and I had fun watching it. It had some twists here and there that were predictable for others but completely unexpected for myself and each of the character's personalities in the show was nice. I give it a 7/10.

Can't decide if 8 or 9.

My problem exactly! But I'm choosing 8 because if I have to over think it, it's probably not the better score.

> .>

ANYWAYS.
A pretty good series though! Loved Yousei Teikoku and the action and time leaps and Yuno. Nothing just gave it that "special" kick. But overall, very good series! I was very entertained and will be interested in whatever project they have coming next.

they need like intermediate ratings

I'd like to give this a 9.X but ending up rounding it to a 10
The multiple dimension thing kinda threw me off

If you give a review of mine a helpful, god saves a kitten.

Shit, I wanted the hammer.

It was a big mistake to think that you're the only one who can turn into a car. I'm a car now too!

I'm satisfied. Confused, but satisfied. At some point in the middle of this series I was hoping for either a really sad ending or a surprise ending like "Akise goes nuts and kills everybody mwahaha!" or something else that wouldn't make any sense... HAPPY END of the third world, or what was it, was amusing and decent enough.

8 or 9 out of 10 I would say.
Hard to choose because it has been a long time since Mirai Nikki started airing. Should rewatch first ten episodes to be sure.

Don't you just hate this empty feeling when some great anime ends? Or is it just me? : (

A fitting ending (in other words: it was silly and shitty, like the rest of the series).

I bet the production company saw how the fans reacted toward the manga ending and decided to tweak the ending a bit.
About the other project most likely it's
Mirai Nikki: Mosaic and Mirai Nikki: Paradox.
I highly doubt they're going to make an anime of the creators previous work
Hanako to Guuwa no Tera or current work Big Order.
I used to believe the brain was the most important organ in the body.
Then I realized - - Look what's telling me that.

All right, it sucked. The series' best moments were between the episodes 20th and 24th - while the grande finale proved to be an anticlimax of huge proportions. The one good thing is that the last 15 pages of the manga were omitted - I wouldn't be generous enough then to give it a 6/10.
For those who haven't read it:

I preferred the Manga ending more. If you never read the manga you would not know what the F was going on after the credit to be honest. I wished they just sticked to the damn manga.

the ending's different? goddamn I need to go n read the manga!!!

And from the final episode...
I didn't quite like the ending cuz I prefer that the couple always goes together and blaablaaromantic stuff. But, I was really exited about the ending in the... ending!
Are they going to continue Mirai Nikki as Yuno and Yukiteru as gods?
Awesome I say!

Does anyone know anything about it?

The ending was surprisingly good, as I had heard it was supposed to be atrocious. I mean, it completely made sense (even Ninths flying babies to some extent, haha).

Then I heard they didn't animate the full chapter, so I decided to check out the manga.

And the author trolled so hard.

Thank god for Asread not animating it. This is how you adapt something: by making it better.´

Edit. I doubt there will be a new season, there's not reason for it to be. Perhaps they'll do one of the spinoffs or the author's new manga.
I have my own blog! It's called Anime Viking. Hope you read it!

I would be surprised by all the hate this series generated, but this is MAL, every series has its share of haters (who for some reason have kept torturing themselves with it no matter how much they hated it). But, my opinion of the show is unrelated to that of others, so I'll just say my .02.

I found the ending to be disappointing, though it was interesting to see all the Diary owners again, and apparently all of them pretty happy. Apparently there's two versions of 9th, too, the one-armed one-eyed mother of floating(!?!) babies and the 3rd world version who's still a terrorist. The main problem I had was with 2nd-world Yukki. He gains the powers of a God and he doesn't do a damn thing with it for 10,000 years, not even to help alleviate his and Murmur's boredom. "I'll sit here for all of eternity moping over some psycho bitch who tied me up and fucked with my head for months, oh woe is me."

I wanted to smack him upside the head; at least God!Yuno was proactive and DID SOMETHING, even if it was the wrong thing. Apparently at the end Yuno finds him and breaks him out of his funk, but what happens then? Does she cave in his skull with the hammer she broke space and time with for being so damn pathetic? Does he watch over his 3rd-world self as a God (or co-God with Yuno), or do they stay forever in their boring, empty world with nothing except each other and an increasingly bored and irritating Murmur?

As someone who's suffered hearbreak and loss, it can be incredible painful, and it can take a long time to get over it. But 10,000 years of sitting around and moping, for a girl you had a relationship with measured in months and weeks? FUCKING LAME, YUKKI. Don't tell me it's 'true love' either.

Other than Yukki's terrible lack of spine, I rather enjoyed the series. I didn't think the animation was bad, it stayed pretty consistent throughout, and there were some great action scenes towards the end. There were plenty of twists, turns and gambit roulettes going every which way, and I never knew what to expect next (other than Yuno going crazy and chopping up people). The ending kinda brings it down a bit, though. I was going to give it a 9, but I think a solid 8 is still pretty deserving.

Last ep: 3/5
Total: 8/10
Honorable Mention: Two amazing OP songs and sequences, probably my favorite ones from each season.
